I remember watching this series with my older daughter who played basketball as a freshman in high school. She was hyper critical of herself of making mistakes or missing shots. I had to keep telling her what Stephen Curry was doing wasn’t normal. I literally had to say, “Don’t think this is how basketball is supposed to go. People squally don’t make shots like this, this often from that far from the basket.” It was so much fun to watch Curry back then!

Now I think we’ve matured enough to realize both players are great in their own way and we’re very lucky to see these guys play before our eyes!! @@jambononi Again, Steve Kerr didn't do anything. Curry would have been good in any system. He was already getting better with Mark Jackson. His first couple years was just derailed by injuries. Didn't you watch the playoff series against the Nuggets and Spurs other Mark Jackson? He was already becoming a star then. His growth had nothing to do with Kerr. Curry would have been Curry with any coach because his talent was undeniable.

When you watch this you realise Curry is the main man behind the Warriors' Dynasty. There is noo one in basketball who makes the crowd go crazy like him with his stunning threes day in day out yet they criticise him everywhere when has little shortcomings. Was ripped off the 2015 finals mvp, was somehow in the shadow of KD by many because KD was scoring more forgetting he was the one feeding all that and also if Curry was a selfish player like Kobe for example he would have already outscored many greats of the game. Just too good this guy nothing else to say

David Lee doesn't get injured in the first game, they don't win that series. It was just too hard to win anything with Lee as a key figure for the Warriors. He is not an NBA-level defender and was a terrible PnR partner but Mark Jackson chose to run that play into the ground. Once Lee was injured, the floor opened up and the Warriors made quick work of the Nuggets, a team nobody thought would lose to the Warriors in the first round. The following season, Jackson chose to start Lee to the bitter end despite seeing how good his team was w/out him and got booted in the first round against the Clippers. Bogut was injured, forcing Lee to play C and he proceeded to make DeAndre Jordan look like Wilt Chamberlain. Was very sad to watch. Then came the 14-15 season when Lee was injured to begin the season, so Draymond was inserted into the starting lineup. Turns out, the Warriors were unstoppable all along had they just gotten rid of Lee or stop playing him so much. People think it was Kerr's system that changed the team. False. It was the insertion of Draymond, who is a million times better than Lee as a basketball player, that changed the identity of this team. That's a little history lesson for anyone who's read this far.
