Wow! I'm glad I found you! As a long term Studebaker fan, I'm really glad to see someone actually find a weasel. The construction above the beltline appears to be "field fabricated" but may have originally been an available roof with canvas sides. Studebaker Museum has a couple of videos available on this. It must be very serviceable, as it was made the same year as me!
Thats a m29c you can see the float tank mounting holes along the front. Meaning that is a 44 or 45 model. Also the fender flares to cover the 20" tracks identifies it as a later model. To bad they cut all the holes in the front for the radiator.

What state are you guys in?
My grandfather had a M 29C with the tanks. Used it for lotta years for hunting in northern Minnesota.
