Vikaasa Ramdas is a carnatic musician under the tutelage of Mandolin Maestro Padmashri Mandolin U. Shrinivas. He released his independent debut album 'Guru's Feet' in 2013, at the age of nineteen.
In this track, Vikaasa is accompanied by Suri Upendra on the mridangam, G. Suresh Kumar on the violin, H. Sivaramakrishnan on the ghatam, and Trichy V.V.S. Manian on the kanjira.

Our 4 month old baby was crying so much immediately after he got 4 of his vaccine shots .. His first experience of real pain. He was inconsolable. This is his favorite song even while at home. When I played this in the hospital room, he totally just stopped crying. Amazing! Thank you

I heard Srinivas play this song in the 80s. Your style is similar and equally melodious. He was more pacy in his brights and later he increased his pace without spoiling the melody. You have good talent, improve your own style. This piece on the whole was excellent. God bless!!

Really melodious/mellifluous. Kindly try play ing other racy kirtanas/numbers like the raagam Kadhanakuthhalam, Balahamsa, Natakurunji, Navarasakaanada, Kaanada, Sindhukannada, Anandabhairavi. Khamaas, Reethigowla, Sriranjanai, Abhogi, Nilambari, Shankarabharananam, Kannadagowla, Surati etc Kindly increase your repoitre. Expecting more videos from you sir soon
Thank you very much for your feedback! I indeed play of these ragas in live concerts, but many of these weren't recorded and I want to ensure whatever I post on TH-cam has really good recording quality :)

Try playing the raagam Kaanada, the kirtana being Alayaipayudhe, the way U.Rajesh had played using a left handed percussionists & a table player . Try playing raagas, Devamruthavarshini , Reethigowla ( Guruvaayirappane apps like U.Srinivas had done/played. I am abig fan of U.Srinivas please provide your mailing I'd. Try playing the raaga Sriranjani, Nagaswaravarali, Dwijavanthi ( which Kadiri Gopalnath plays on the Saxophone), Gananayakam in the raagam Rudrapriya ( which U.Srinavas had rendered ). Ragaas Panthuvarali, Mayamalavagowla, Simhendramadhyamam are boring to listen to.
