Good morning everyone! This is a video about how something called the Law of Detachment has helped me and will help you live your best life. Music by Karl Casey @WhiteBatAudio
I've had problems in the other direction. I live pretty detached and willing to go with the flow. My spouse is much more structured and needs a plan to feel comfortable. We had lots of disagreements about our outlooks. It took me far to long to realize my lack of attachment left me not being as sympathetic to her discomfort.
@@BrandG. my understanding of detachment is you need to emotionally detach from your own expectations of her and accept that she’s not going to be as laid back as you are. When you can accept that you’ll find that a lot of tensions will dissipate
Get outta my brain man!! I've been needing a thought process like this to help me work through the trials and tribulations of life. I'm about to turn 23 and am working so hard to try and get to where I wanna be in my life, but in the end, my plans only control like a fraction of what actually happens in the world around me. I think we could all be a little happier by letting go a bit more.
I can only say this process has made me a lot happier and life less hard! Honestly the results of this video will be a great exercise in applying the law of detachment!
This is the way to be man... "You got to go with the flow, the sea refuses no river. The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving. The ride does not require a destination just occupants."
@@dirtcopdualsport It's from a movie called 'Waking Life' it's a weird one for sure but has some very interesting parts in it. If you look up "boat car waking life" you can find it.
" Smooth Is Fast "..... just " Flow ", your doing it my friend and on a TW. like your videos. Truly enjoy that the journey does not really involve a destination but rather reflection and maybe a drink( coffee or beer):)
¡Hola! Muchas gracias por ver mis videos y por tu comentario. Me alegra saber que disfrutas de los paseos con tu motocicleta tanto como yo. ¡Un saludo y que sigas disfrutando de tus rutas!
Ha! One of the many scenarios where detaching ourselves from the expected outcome can save us from disappointment. And not to mention I don’t home a patent on this you should make the video and blow mine out of the water!
@@dirtcopdualsport I really liked the presentation/format of the video man! I don’t think I know enough about the law of detachment to make a video yet but it’s a very helpful concept imo, it reminds me of the Bhagavad Gita! You could do a whole bunch of these ‘conceptual essays wrapped in a dual sport format! Very cool video man I’m pumped for your next one
@@Wheelsandwilds thanks man! I’ve been trying to mix things up and veer away from the traditional Motovlog. I have some ideas knocking around in my head that I will get out there! Thank you for watching this and I’m glad you are enjoying the content!
"It's a slow road, and I'm a busy man." Great line. Try, 'Slow road, fast man!" Nice one-handed riding! Whiskers! Due to the pouring rain, I'm detached from my Tdub, but there will be a positive outcome soon. Great vid, brah!
mounted a UTV gun rack on handle bars for collapsible metal detector and have a nice retractable rod and reel kit ..keep small reel and tackle box in my rear rack bag and the rod closes down to like 17" inside sleeve case .. I tuck it into seat strap and rear bag mount straps. I'm ready roll.. you never know what you're gonna come across exploring on a tdub
I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve heard of this mindset before, but it makes total sense! Way to make us think as well as show us some beautiful terrain 👍🏻👍🏻
Is anyone else finding this year particularly challengin? Let me know what you've been doing to make life better and easier!

Detaching from things and expectations has allowed me to be free and love and enjoy people, places and things! Thanks and enjoy your riding time.....
@@QuinnBoone thank you I will! Thank you for watching.

It's fascinating that I can have an idea for a video and then stumble upon somebody else who has already made that idea!
