You really like to face challenges. so bold that you remove all original highlights and add yours. This needs to know the effects of highlights and skills to paint highlights. Good job!
ISP alcohol is more used to remove paint you applied or cleanup certain areas of the figure that are stained. Another method you can used to remove the paint is using Windsor and Newton brush cleaner and restorer. You can apply it like acetone. It won’t melt the plastic but it will get sticky so you would have to clean it off with water, so that the figure isn’t sticky and stained with white particles that seems to be impossible to remove. Idk myself because I mainly used it for my Star Wars black series figure but it didn’t work for the mega construx figures.
I love the end result and had an idea. Hear me out: You said the lines change depending on the angle of the shot in the cartoon, which makes it impossible to do in real life and I agree. It's impossible in ONE figure. Since you have at least two, what if you posed the second one in a different pose/angle and painted it that way? That would leave you with a regular all rounder one(the one you just did) and one with a specific pose/angle in mind.
i love all of your work ken but i think i prefer the comic stuff, it gives you a lot more artistic freedom and the figures are usually much more interesting. keep it up either way!!
Would you consider repainting the cell shaded X-Men. I have the Jean and Cyclops. I removed the cell shading from Cyclops, but I had to totally repaint the blue on Jean. I don’t love the cell shaded look when Hasbro does it, but I think you could really improve the cell shading on those figures and make it look decent.
you should repaint the retro amazing fantasy spider-man to look more like the comics
I second this idea
The original highlights were like the stripe design on the outfit. The new highlights are much natural and convincing.
I like the highlights on fingers. They do not just make sense, they are very effective and appealing in the photos.
The new blue highlights look much better than before as can be seen from different angles. Good job!

Your channel is awesome man. Def earned a sub. 😁👍😎🔥
Yours looks very nice. Hasbro would never do it your way because that would require them to paint the back of the figure.
get another andrew legends and make a custom black suit from hipotetical tasm 3
Plsss plsss do more comic figures I’m begging make some x men and definitely more female comic figures
Even do the skrull queen spider woman

w
O and I sub to your Chanal.
The only way to truly replicate the animated look is with color shift paint.
Why not just spray the entire figure with a matte clear coat, save some time and not have to be soo delicate to try not to mess up
Because it’s better to use the coat at the end because if you do it before the paint won’t stick as well
I tend to work on the figures at night so it’s more convenient to use the matte varnish and film the process. But I’ll try the matte clear coat!!
@Tsk-mj4ox it's actually the opposite the paint sticks better plus if you mess up it's easy to wipe off
@KenIMakeIt oh ok that makes a lot of sense, great job as always 👍
Before is much better
He was perfect then you ruined it😢
You should have painted the bottom of his feet w that blue! That would have set it off!
