Thank you so much. First video I see with quick and very good explanation to fix this problem. I lost hours until your video. Thanks a lot. Have Great day !!!
THANK YOU for solving a very frustrating problem -- I just couldn't figure out why my exported videos didn't look like the version that I edited. They do now! LOL
I'm not an expert on this but here's a link to another video that should tell you what you need to know. Thanks for watching! th-cam.com/video/gM6U8v_yRlY/w-d-xo.html
Hi I have this exact same problem on Windows PC. There are no PC specific fix tutorials to be found. The Mac solution doesn't work. What should I try next?
Great question! I've been changing this manually every time but when you asked this I realized there's got to be a way to make this the default. It turns out there is! When you go to your project settings and update the color management options, go to the top right of the settings window and you'll see 3 dots. Click on this to bring up a menu... then select "Set Current Settings as Default Preset" That's all you need to do. The next time you create a new project, your color management will be set to Rec. 709-A. Thanks for the question! And thanks for watching!
Hello. That's strange... usually if the video plays ok on the Mac or PC, it should play the same on the iPhone. I have no clue why your experience is different. Good luck!
Thanks for the comment! You must have missed the part of the video where I said to uncheck Auto Color Management option. What you're describing is exactly what I suggested in the video.
Ive watched so many tutorials on how to fix this and this was the first one to actually work! Thank you!

This same issue happens in Premier. Was giving Davinci a chance and can’t believe this issue lives in Davinci too.
Well that's interesting... I thought this issue was specific to Davinci - Didn't know it happened in Premiere as well. Thanks for the info!

Same problem here, and also if I upload the video to my webpage... And I have a PC and I can only find solutions for Mac...
This didn't work for me. The settings that eventually worked: DaVinci YRGB Color. Managed NOT Auto color management. SDR Rec.709. Rec. 709-A

What about windows ?
Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you... I'm not using Davinci on a PC and I thought this color issue was Mac specific.
