Man there is nothing like the bond between a father and a son. The film was great but the end was the best. I grew up learning everything i know from my dad between hunting,fishing what i know about cars and pretty much everything else i know.

In Junior's day, young men were obedient and respectful of there parents, especially their Fathers. In one comment, Junior said he could be 40 years old and if his father asked him to fire up the Still, he would not hesitate to carry out his father's instructions. My family are from the same area Junior grew up at so I can easily relate to the Appalachian culture of some of the finest people one could ever know.
Nascar sure made a dumb ass move running Jr. out of nascar over big business interest. They got the big head. That what made nascar special was somebody with friends in back yard garage with lot of hard work. Just maybe anybody could qualify for a race & just maybe win. Now unless you own multi-billon dollar business don't even try come to track.
