E lá tava hiper frio ela pode ter se resfriado ou por conta dos nódulos dela a voz não estava perfeita.

It's Mariah she lipped that part,it sounds exactly like the studio version.if it was a radio frequency it would be much higher.Also in the rehearsal she made this sound while lip syncing and the you can hear how volume on"The waaaaaaahaaaay" is lower than the rest of the song.She still slayed....
it's her forcing air out her throat without sound to make it appear that she's singing the lipped part. it sounds like a whistle because of her nodules.
The playback was louder in the broadcast (the soundboard won’t always play the same levels through the speakers as on the broadcast like Mariah’s Always Be My Baby performance from 2014 when the audience never heard the playback). The background vocals were also a ton louder
