Horse-Drawn Wedding Carriage Anyone?!

  • Sandra’s wedding carriage doesn’t often get called into action (mostly because not many people know about it) - but when it does, we’re ready. And this is the story of our part in Esther and Andy’s lovely wedding. We putting this up partly to show how much preparation is involved - and how nice it can be when everything comes together. You’ll notice Henry and Flora are the same size now and the same colour too, so they look good together in harness - even on a wet day in May.
And, yes, this is also a shameless advertisement. We’re available for hire for weddings and other special occasions at very reasonable rates - get in touch if you think we can help!
Many thanks to Esther and Andy for letting us film and put up this video - congratulations on your lovely wedding day and all best wishes for the future : - )
Also thank you to Laura, who stood around in the wet grass to film us going by. Merci beaucoup!

Great vid! The whole horse-drawn carriage period look, amidst all that estate greenery, added such a early 19th century feel to everything!

How delightful to see you both looking so dapper for your wedding carriage ride. It is really good to see the preparation for this type of work. Makes one appreciate all the preparation time that goes into this type of service.
The horses looked so elegant together. It was funny to see one of them eating the floral decorations on the cart! I have only ridden in a carriage once, but I loved it! Such a relaxed way to travel.
May you both enjoy a prosperous wedding carriage business!
The scenery looks wonderful in your film.
    Have a great week!
    Warmest regards,
    Dianna

I have just stumbled across your channel while doing some research for a book. I am from Australia and can say your channel is very interesting! Both of you have amazing narrators voices. I think you should narrate a children's tv show. You have the perfect cadence! Regards, Emily

    Sandra and Tim,
You look fabulous in your suits and bowlers! Nothing shameful about advertising such a happy service! I'd hire you for a ride on Nancy and my upcoming 30th anniversary... but it's about 5000km to pick us up at our house! Do Henry and Flora like a good brisk swim? Maybe we will if we ever make it to your side of the Atlantic and you have another open house...
I hope this brings you lots of customers. It looks like wonderful fun.
    Michael

This stuff is very abusive to ever horse that does this stuff . Why do you enjoy looking at the horses be in so much pain and be so exhausted during there job. I dislike all of you for supporting this.

@@chuckaustin7234 first off I didn’t know that this pair is well taken care of when I wrote the comment but A lot of people that offer stuff like this to the public abuse there horses such as living conditions and letting them pretty much was themselves to the ground and it’s ridiculous.
