Hang in there H&M the Es will be back home with you soon!!! I cant imagine how confusing it must be for them. I'm sure harriet gave M a good telling off that night like "how could YOU let this happen?!!" Lol on a more serious note I'm glad they explained why they use veils over their faces while feeding the Es! I figured it had to do with covid, didn't think about imprinting. That's interesting and very smart bc we need those Es back in the care of mom and dad PRONTO! 🥰🥰

If there is one thing that has remain impressed in my mind, is the faces of the two parents perching together on the evening the eaglets were taken away. The little ones look healthy and I have no doubt they shall soon, in everybody's interest, be brought back to the nest. Seeing them eat made me laugh :)

H&M stayed close and have been doing so ever since. Maybe M had some way to reassure H that a predator was not the culprit...These two have been feisty from day one. Even little E18 was trying to bonk when one of it's eyes was sealed shut the day they were rescued. They will do wonderfully back with Mom & Dad! It's hard to wait though!!!

They are a beautiful pair. curious if the birds would die without human help

Quite possible. Infection can take them over quickly, especially so young and small.

They are being treated for eye infections. Both got crusty swollen eyes, and CROW picked them up a couple of days ago. You can view more videos about it on my channel.

Will they have to disinfect the nest before returning the eaglets?
