I remember being at her house, running around, playing, laying out in the yard watching the clouds roll by and dreaming about growing up and getting a farm out in Colorado somewhere, together, falling in love (with brothers, that was our plan, they’d be brothers lol) and having a family.
Now she’s all grown up, with two beautiful kids and a beautiful home she built for them.
But she’s still going through it. And I hate seeing her in pain like that.
And I knew this song would kick in some nostalgia but it would also hit deep for her.

I fooled myself into thinking that she will change. She walked away from me so many times and here I am running like a dog begging for her love. Until I woke up and decided to leave her for good and ended up hurting her even tho I still love her but I also love myself. It hurts so much that I have to decide whether its my happiness or hers.
