3:48 We don't just have pork sausage, we also have poultry, beef sausage and wild animal sausage and other varieties. In addition, the sausages are produced differently, smoked, boiled, brewed, etc. and each manufacturer has its own secret ingredients and spices.
7:25 The German Bread Register of the German Bread Institute currently lists over 3,000 different bread specialties that are baked and sold every day in Germany. The actual number is probably even higher. Previous estimates that there were 300 types of bread in Germany are considered outdated.
Let me repeat what I already wrote before...🙄 As a Frenchman living in Germany since many years, I have to say that my favorite dish here is definitely beef roulades with boiled potatoes, a fine red wine sauce and red cabbage (alternatively: Brussels sprouts). In second place is potato salad from the Lower Rhine with homemade meatballs. My favorite dessert (or just in between) : Spaghetti Ice cream. Delicious! Oh for sure... and of course don't forget "Mettbrötchen" (raw, fine minced pork on a bread roll) with onions for breakfast. 😋😋😋 😃
11:50 About 25 different styles of beer are brewed in Germany, home of the Purity Law. Within these beer styles there are around 6,000 different types of beer in Germany. The German brewing industry consists of more than 1,500 breweries including craft beer breweries, which, including non-alcoholic varieties, produced around 87.8 million hectoliters of beer in 2022. In terms of output figures, German breweries are in fifth place behind China, the USA, Brazil and Mexico.
Je trouve ça terrible que toutes les vidéos américaines appellent la sauce curry ketchup, c'est une sauce. Ils pensent que c'est juste une simple saucisse avec du ketchup.
Some places actually serve just Ketchup, with a little curry powder 😢. Yes there is Hela Curry Ketchup and it's a childhood memory.. But you are not wrong, a decent place will have a curry sauce for the sausage.
? Salutations de Franconie...
A coarse Bratwurst (from nothern Hesse, not a Thuringian, because that is with caraway which not everyone likes) and Sauerkraut mixed with mashed potatoes - amazing !
Hello pretty lady. Come to me in Greiz/Thuringian Vogtland in Germany, where you can find the "Best Thuringian Bratwurst" and much more. Greetings from DJ Mike from Thuringia in Germany.
If you are concerned about correct pronunciation, you should not watch a video by an American, but by a German native speaker who knows English. Just as a piece of advice.
