35 years ago I cycled to France via Folkstone after staying at Canterbury. The hill at Dunkirk was an absolute killer and remains in my mind to this day :) Nice video and editing.

@chazurbex while you're filming yourself whilst cycling, the police will do you for that if it's not mounted too your bars etc, gotta be hands free, I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong in my eyes but if you get a petty or bored cop they'll give you a fine and points most likely, I was exaggerating with the ban, look it up though im pretty sure its illegal, itll be the traffic cops that get you for that

I remember Dunkirk being flat? Pre Calais like boulogne sur mer Le Tréport and Le crotoy different story entirely. Unless you didn’t follow the coast?
Yeah that hill was an absolute pain after what I had just done, those countryside hills beforehand killed me off aha.
@@SeriousAboutCooking There is a small place west of Canterbury on the old A2 with the same name. It ain't flat :)

Hey Chaz. Look at you starting up a solo travel channel. Subbed. Ride safe. The Unk!

Have fun. And Croatia is better than France :D
Your'e not wrong. But France was about the journey, not the destination, so both were amazing!
Surprised you didnt get a driving ban for using your phone on your bike on the uk side 😂 police been on a mad one lately
Which part of the video did u see this?

Maybe learn some basic bike maintenance skills? Could you have been fixed a puncture if you got one?
Nah, I've never been too great at that but need to learn for sure. I would've been done for if anything had happend to the bike.
@ the problem you had seemed like a simple chain drop.
@@jonm8423 yeah, ik it was simple because they guy in the bike shop fixed it in 5 mins with his fingers
