      @Deus Vult isn't ps4 made by Sony itself? and their own headphones are not compatible?

    • @memd777
      @memd777 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Deus Vult The difference between gaming headphones and normal headphones is that gaming headphones have an extra usb bluetooth device because PS4 doesn't have bluetooth.

      Highs does the damage. Low frequencies does not. The sensory hairs in the ear loses sensitivity with high pitched sounds.

    Just bought the Crusher Wireless... first impression is the bass slider is nice but sliding it down completely is the best sound. Comfortable and connected to bluetooth easily. Experienced a little bluetooth interference but then the battery seemed to die as I just unboxed them. Def glad I went w the crushers cuz the larger fit around the ear and looks are better. W the 40hr battery life I'm excited. Was in best buy listening to the BoseQC35 and Sony1000x and the Crushers seem on par with those in sound....never really needed any noise suppression so saving money I think I'm gonna be happy with these as long as the Bluetooth doesn't get interference very often. At $150 I'm pretty stoked also like the buttons are easy to find when wearing. Fingers crossed I think I lucked out finding these.

    • @RealJamesNeal
      @RealJamesNeal 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm gonna be honest man. I'm getting terrible interference anywhere outside of like 10 ft. of my macbookpro when paired... One question I have is how long does it take to charge the battery and also how can i tell the charge percentage. If I don't figure out whats happening I'll be returning but I don't want to. When I'm getting good bluetooth these are great.

    • @RealJamesNeal
      @RealJamesNeal 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I've discovered the problem i have is in my macbookpro bluetooth pairing not my iphone so I may have my computer looked at.. not sure the best bluetooth is in this 17" pro from like 2009. #likecrusher

    I got the crushers and it really allowed me to understand how bass can be overpowering, I've used beats but these things literally vibrate. So if you want to hear your bass through your skull go for these. It's truly, SKULLcandy.

    • @trophywolfe
      @trophywolfe 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gageshippy2256 yeah but for some reason the og crusher wireless had a weird threshold for when it activates. the crusher evo is much smoother and has no threshold for activation but will not be prominent till around 60% volume when the bass tab is all the way up. if your looking for better adjustment of the bass definitely go for the evo.

    For buyers who are considering buying a BT model headphone in the $150 range, have one other model to consider. The Audio Technica M50XBT, which are based from their notoriously popular M50X wired version, which some consider studio quality monitors. They aren’t a bass heavy model, but rich & balanced, and provide a more accurate soundstage. Their battery life is also about 40hrs.

      @@saketnaik1 they are pretty good. mine are really scratched up on one side now, but I couldn't really care about that. I have dropped them many times in these 2 years I had them and they have not broken at anyplace. Still I would not suggest dropping these as you never know when something breaks, no matter how many times they survived other previous falls. Heck you can get lucky and have something break at the first mistake (drops, hits, accidental crushes and so on). As for the battery life, it holds up still and can usually go a full week or more with it.

    I had a Satechi model which I paired with my iPad for listening to music and stream videos, until the damned frame broke inside the padding. Been looking for a set of wireless since, and I got some rather positive experience with the Sennheiser brand. Had a gaming headset as my first, and it was pure awesome - until one of my cats gnawed on the cable, but it was my fault to leave it around unprotected (and I still kick myself over it); then, when I bought a microphone for singing (or trying to...), I chose the Sennheiser e835 S (switch version) over the singer's standard Shure SM-57 model (and cost me 20 euros cheaper, too!). All these experiences might make me sound biased, but at the time I'm writing this comment, I can get the Sennheiser for less than 100 euros, when the Skullcandy costs 170... Damn!
    This review has some very valid points, which I certainly won't disregard while testing both models. Though I feel positive whichever I pick, will be an improvement over the Satechi one, which I bought on a budget - construction looks sturdier on both models here reviewed.

    The crushers may seem to have very good build quality but they don't. After 8 months of daily use the headband broke and the speaker hinges also cracked. This is a common issue since I found multiple people complaining about the same cracked plastic issue. Thankfully their warrenty is top notch and I got tokens to buy replacement headphones without any issues. However, how long before I have the same issue?... what happens after the 2 year warrenty passes?

    Well, the way I see it:
    -Sennheiser HD 4.40BT is for people looking for a warm mature and inmersive high quality sound, great for music and movies, when the details and clarity matters, I can certify it after lot of hours using them in flight and long working hours.
    -Skullcandy is the sound for the youngers looking for strong or extreme bass and highs, unable to appreciate the balanced sounds that allow to listen to all music instruments and realistics sounds. I have used Skullcandy, and its sound is not refined.

    I was bored and walking around BestBuy when I saw the headphones display with the hands-on display units, after thinking what the heck I walked over and started trying on headphones one by one, Bose, Sony, etc, and some nice expensive ones, after looking over the Crushers and thinking huh, not a name brand I've heard of, I threw them on and hit play the button on the display unit. Immediately taking them off and looking at them perplexed and saying that's not fucking possible. Best fricking bass I've heard in headphones.

    paired the Crusher with an iPod source using FLAC files, the Graham Slee Voyager portable amp and a wired connection - a match made in heaven 😁. The Voyager shows the true engineering in these headphones and controls the haptic bass beautifully. It also sorts out the out-of-the-box tuning which recesses vocals and upper mids a bit too much. If you want bass and audiophile detail across the range, then these have that in them if you have a decent amp and lossless source. They'll deliver both the detail and the super powerful bass and rich luscious low-end sounds. 🙏🍻❤️
