Nice video!!! just like the prs one, with diferent configuration on the pickup selection. Only one question... with this switch are you able to make 5 different positions with two humbuckers? for example... position 1: bridge humbucker, position 2: outer coils split in pararell, position 3: both humbuckers in pararel, position 4: inter coils split in pararell, position 5: neck humbucker. I hope i get an answer, even so really cool video man thanks again.
You are completely correct. I ignored the grounds to keep the diagram simple, but @raddytv4216 is right, all pots should be grounded. The third lug on each pot should be grounded. I would also ground the chassis of the rotary switch.
Good job, I want to do exactly this on an SG bass, adding a middle pickup for more Thunderbirdy tones.
thanks so much!!!!!

Please note that all pots should be grounded. This was missed on the diagram, which is my mistake.
You didn’t want to go with the 6 way rotary to get neck and bridge as well?
I've been looking for a wiring diagram to do this with the 6 way
This would have been interesting. Maybe I'll try that some other time.
What if it was just a 2 pole, but 5 position rotary?
Where are the grounds from the pickups going ? could you show an example for the grounding on this setup
Typically they would each go to their respective volume pot

Can I get a dia 1/2" rotary switch for instrument?
Sorry, not sure what you're asking. Can you elaborate?
Can you explain the difference if I want to install a rotary into a traditional Strat layout with one volume and two tone pots?
