Hale used to be so freaking op, like if I didn't get my main, I'd just play hale because he was easy to use and op. Now he sucks, because if you miss, you slow down, which gives people so much more time to land hits on you. It's really stupid, but now Doom is the new hale, and hes a lot better too.
wouldnt say doom is the new hale because you have to actually be a bit careful and not rush into 20 people (like pre-nerf hale), and if you mess up target priority and leave a hitscan ranged like ssg/interv/MS alive you'll lose a ton of hp, the meathook and berz pack really need a nerf tho, hook is just too versatile of a tool, escape, chase, and combo, and berz pack is just pure carnage with no requirement
I don't know much about hale, but i think you can prevent getting that glitch by starting slam at the highest point of your leap, instead of right before landing. Though that does severely reduce its range and chance to land...
Hale doesn’t need nerfs or buffs. It needs a system overwrite. Hale is just too janky. IMO it should be reworked to function more like TF2’s Saxton Hale (the literally reference). Where you get more direction with your charge while it doesn’t come out instantly. As well as give them a cloud in a bottle type double jump (with an actual cooldown, yeah I am look at you Doom Guy). That would honestly fix most problems and justify the lower hp. (Also remove m1 slow down on miss). But that would take too much time for creating it and balancing it and the developers probably got better stuff to work on.
Honestly, the biggest nerf was the fact that Hale had their hp halved again.

Hale Slam makes you go through thin platforms if you use it late, though, it can still happen with an early slam, just not as often.

I think the damage needs to Nerf 55 to 45
If I have to play hale, my speed will be always slowed (300 ping)
