So, here in Canada, there is no campus placements, it’s mostly going to networking events and applying to as many companies as possible! So, I had applied for IBM and got a call for interview but not as straightforward, the key is to keep applying and make use of your network ! :)

Thankyou So much. Your videos are really helpful. I am enrolled in International Masters in teaching English program at Saint Mary's University, Halifax. I am just waiting for my study visa. I am little nervous because I do not have any relative there. I am confused about residence. Like which airport will I land and after that where will I take residence? And lots and lots of things. Please guide me.
Hey Jaideep, I know its stressful, but trust me its super easy. Let me help you on this one by one :
Airport : Take a flight until Halifax (You will not get direct, you will have a connection so I am assuming you will get down at Toronto, there are sign boards everywhere and you can even ask anyone). Take a flight to Halifax, you will land at Halifax Stanfield International Airport (halifaxstanfield.ca/)
If you are coming to SMU, you can book car service. I got a fancy limo that came to pick me up! Just book that with SMU.

What's the scope of a masters program in public relations(pr) in terms of employability and permanent residency in Halifax(Nova scotia or other province's)? Also, can you review Mount Saint Vincent University( is it reputed of not, overall value) since this is the only university that offers the master degree in pr?
Saint Mary's University and Dalhousie University are the only reputed and reliable universities in Nova Scotia. Companies are more likely to recruit those who graduate from these two universities. Furthermore, you can effortlessly get a job in other provinces if you graduate from any of these two universities as they're prominent, although job experience and smartness does matter.
@@shakilrashid138 St. Francis Xavier University is also a reputed and reliable university in Nova Scotia. It was started much earlier than St Mary's or Dalhousie.
