It came to my attention that A BUNCH of people simply click on the video because of the title, and don't watch it just to vent in the comments that they're mad at cheaters. Now I don't mind at all. More comments is good. Though before you waste your time writing "ChEaTers bad", you should consider the following:
    - I do not encourage cheating ONLINE in a bad way.
    - Game hacking is a discipline, kind of like binary exploitation is, or reverse engineering. You can learn game hacking without the intention to sell cheats or to cheat in multiplayer games. It requires a lot of knowledge which like can be useful for A LOT of things other than cheating.
    - I enforce the idea of learning game hacking without affecting other people's experience in order to learn many things which are useful for a lot of things, but in a fun and interesting way!
If you have any counter-argument to try & prove me wrong I will be more than happy to refute you :)

@sHighGuy First off who are you calling my "customers"? I do not sell a single product; I produce free content. You could stretch out and say that my Patreon is one, but I really think not. Patreon simply supports my already online content, which nowadays is barely only game hacking focused stuff.
Second, yes these games CAN be played privately in coop lobbys, and this is not the point. One will develop and reverse online games, but doesn't mean he HAS to do it in a way that affect others. Personally I have made cheats on those games with features that required multiplayer, yet I never sold them, or abused them against other players.
And lastly, this one is going to hurt some, but most people will watch this video and give up. Those who won't are a minority, and this minority is usually composed of passionate people who have good intentions behind it like I do.
BTW, the last point still applies to my Minecraft content even though it is mostly multiplayer as, if you watched them, would understand their purpose is teaching about JNI, the cheats are just there as a way to render a boring subject interesting.

If you have a hard time understanding assembly, and you're a computer person, my recommendation is designing a custom CPU in verilog or logisim with your own instruction set and then writing some programs for it like pong or whatever. Can even write your own little assembler. After this task you'll be able to quickly grasp any instruction set in depth, I feel like.

Honestly most of the time the problem is that people don't want to learn hacking, they just want a working cheat and think that learning it themselves is the only way to get it which will lead to them trying for a day and giving up due to immediate failures
That's also further complicated by the fact that getting into the field lately is harder and harder, sort of like the repair industry where manufacturers make it increasingly harder to repair stuff making it near impossible for beginners to learn

I disagree on having to learn to program before you can start debugging. You can start with debugging and then learn a language to put your finds to work.
You will learn basics of ASM just by poking around in a debugger. And memory scanning. Also, hex editors.
If you try to learn a language first. You will eventually give up.
Start with targeting simple games. Even the windows calculator. Yes that's right. Simple.
Use a memory scanner to find a simple address. Open it with a debugger and learn what the assembly instructions are doing around this address.
You will learn basics. And you can alter the flow of the code as well to get results.
Once your having fun and seeing results. Then you will be motivated to learn a little bit of a language to implement the changes with things such as a trainer. Doing code injection to the target application. Good luck guys. Lab out...

Otherwise if you really know what you're doing, but are missing some things for some reason, learn networking. Then I suppose depending on the game you want to do such thing on you'll need to reverse engineer the networking protocol used by the game on all layers (Transport and Application), and if there is encryption (Which is most likely), you'll need to encrypt/decrypt the packets to do so, and let your intuition deduce the rest...

      @axxo1337  ปีที่แล้ว

Haha, this is quite antonym. Well if you haven't I still recommend learning assembly and C++. Then learning a graphic api like OpenGL and making really bad games with it. After that though it is up to you. Pick a game engine you want to learn and get familiar with it, and try to implement your own things and making a couple of game projects. This route is not the traditional one someone in the field would give you, but after doing 5 years of computer science I can guarrante you it is the one that will provide you with the highest level of competence and understanding of the field no matter your goal (even if you're going to touch cybersec or hacking at all)

bro told to learn everything there is to computer science
from introduction to programming all the way to assembly
furthermore, cyber security which itself alone is a huge field and also networking. All that's left is AI, theory of automata and data science.
And casually said to learn all this, learning all this could take years and said to use all that knowledge to hack video games.

I meannnn you are kind of right, but I never said you had to be a professional. With that said yes it can take years if you start from zero, and there is no bullshit to all I have said. But to be honest for someone who already knows his stuff 8 months or so can be more than enough to make a basic cheat on his own.

Sure a lot of people will use it to make money by selling cheats or to improve their skill issue, but doesn’t mean everyone has the same motivation.
