Van helsing non chalantly describing the horrific death of lucy and asking harker about his infidelity with the lady vampires in front of his fiancee never cease to amuse me
Its sad because Reinfeild goes out like a bad ass in the original novel. He fights dracula using his fists, because he realizes that Dracula is going after Mina. All it really does is kinda shock Dracula for a second or two. Then Dracula breaks his body. Also the scene of Dracula and Mina is much more grapey in the book. It is not a tale of love. She is crying and the Count is holding both of her arms away with his left hand, and is holding her head to his chest with his right.
I think at the end we see him in a severely weakened state, he has not been able to rest in the earth of his homeland for the entirety of his voyage back to Transylvania, since all the dirt he brought with him got consecrated. Van Helsing says here he needs the earth to restore his power. EDIT: Nevermind, I think the box he's in at the end has some dirt and rocks in it, though maybe he hasn't been able to rest in it long enough, and/or hasn't gotten enough blood on his journey.
He’s suuuuuuper weak in that state. That’s why they HAVE to do it right then and there. Otherwise they would Get destroyed if he had the chance to become strong again
Dracula thought Renfield was the only one who could have told the group about his England hideouts, because he thought Harker was back in Transylvania trapped in his castle, but Harker had actually escaped and told them. I guess Dracula doesn't know everything. Should've finished off Harker before he left for England.
@@Jim-Mc Dracula knows Harker is back, he sees him in a carriage with Mina a few minutes earlier in the film. I think the betrayal really is just what we see in this clip, Renfield tries to warn Mina away and save her from Dracula in whatever small way he can.
I agree. He was an earnest, serious young man, which is how Harker was written in the storyline. Jonathan is not the most exciting character, a bit wimpy, but that is how the character was written in the novel. Think about it, Jonathan has always been secondary in all the movies. The main focus in the later part of the story is on Dracula, Van Helsing and Mina. KR did a good job with what he had to work with.

Van Helsing was Dutch...
This scene always makes me hungry and thirsty. Van Helsing should be in restaurant commercials just eating and being based AF.
LOL the way Van Helsing impatiently responded with the cutting off the head, its like he's saying stop asking stupid ass questions you're annoying me.
His accent is so bad 😅 still love it
Tom Waits made an excellent Renfield
He's an American but did a London cockny accent perfectly 😊
The score for this movie and the movie itself were both amazing.
Winona Ryder was so fine.
Yes 🎉
Then she went batshit lol. She’s good now tho
How many times I gotta say it? DON'T GO HUNTING VAMPIRES AT NIGHT!
A brilliant film.
The real killer in this movie was reeves' accent. Absolute horrific murrrrduhhh
Brilliant. Anthony. Hopkins
This is a true story. I was there. We used quantum torpedoes and type 15 phaser banks on Dracula.

your right, this movie widely diverges from the source material despite its title, but i still like it.
the novel is terrifying.
Anthony hopkins ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes Miss Elizabeth ,, Anthony Hopkins 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
Richard E Grant is a legend
So underrated
Solo broma... Witt es solo un niño ante letner 😂😂😂
Keanu . . . love ya, man . . . but that accent . . wow . . . is stinkeroo . . .
his casting in the film basically ruined the film. in the right role he is a fine actor, but this was not the one. not even close.
They spend the whole movie hyping up how powerful Dracula is, then they just take him out in seconds at the very end.

what did you expected? not a decent meal for days and his head is nearly chopped off seconds after sundown.
Hollywood Bull 💩Reinvention

Read the dA&^ book!!!!😊
I❤ doctor's ❣️💙
Tom Waits was the best thing in this movie.
What's the betrayal???

@David_Axelord Harker sees Dracula from the carriage but I don't think Dracula sees him.
@@Jim-Mc that makes sense, poor Renfield, thanks Jim.
@@David_Axelord but Dracula never witnessed that interaction
renfields the only one who actually cares for vlad
You know you're in trouble when your undead master transforms into mist to come murder you

Keanu ruined this film. Such a lovely lad but so bad in this
Eh lol. Its not bad. I love his delivery of the line "I know where the bastard sleeps!" LMAO. Just the way he says that hahaha

Wow go team .....shit on em 😂😂😂😂
very bad acting by early john wick character.. made to funny meme
Carfax abbeurrrh
She is minnnneeeeeee...lei è mmmmiaaaaa
The terrible accents
I hate Ryder for what she did to Dracula
If they would just follow the original book, it is absolutely terrifying. Leave it to Bull 👉🏻💩Hollywood to ruin a great story…
