    I may get a lot of hate on this one, but i think Fagioli needs to step up his game or he will find himself at a mid table team very soon. His game has not improved much over these years, compared to players like Tonali, who is already miles ahead of him.he is not a starter right now and may even struggle to find regular playing time if most of our midfielders stay fit

      It’s definitely fair to say he needs to show more and definitely each time he’s out there. He’s only shown flashes imo

      Tonali played 3 out of 4 serie A seasons playing well over 30 matches (25 the one he didn’t) prior to the suspension. Fagioli only played one season, 26 matches where most were as a sub.

    As you stated Motta will rotate players. I watched a lot of Bologna matches last season. Mainly because I kept betting on them to lose when they went on that long unbeaten run and last when we started to get linked to Califiore. Fagioli will get his mins. Motta unlike many coaches makes halftime subs often and had nowhere near the options he has now when he was with Bologna. Very condescend schedule all the way up to January and hopefully longer.

      Yeah and to add to it a LOT of his changes were in the midfield from game to game. It’ll be an interesting pattern to keep eyes on.

      Who’s throwing him out???
      Stating he needs to deliver in a rather stacked midfield isn’t throwing him out but… he has to do more than he has up until now is a fair assessment imo

    I'm more curious about Wes than Fagioli.
    So far with us, TM played 4231 as starting formation, 433 (or 4231 with AM playing deeper) when closing out games, and 4141 (with Wes as one of the AMs) as attacking formation when going for a win in second half.
    If above holds true, it's just four CMs with Wes being an AM alternative.

    • @AllJuveCast
      @AllJuveCast  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s probably the only way that makes sense to use Wes is the 4141 and he can assist moving forward.

    It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for Fagioli to continue working on his game behind more established and polished players like Koopmeiners and Luiz. Watched some highlights of Jonathan David and although he's a good player he seems to lack another gear in terms of speed. At least that was my quick non-expert opinion.

    • @AllJuveCast
      @AllJuveCast  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s not the worst thing at all, it could actually be seen as a major positive. Freedom to grow and improve without such heavy reliance.

    In general I am a big fan of incentive based contracts however in this case I would not with Dusan. He already puts too much pressure on himself. Imagine a funk when money is on the line? Thoughts?

    • @AllJuveCast
      @AllJuveCast  24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      That’s actually a really good point. I think bringing down the net though would relieve some of the pressure because right now it’s all anyone is talking about and based on when he was welcoming Koopmeiners he clearly is paying attention to what’s being said… it’s a tough call. I can see the positive and negative in it from his side. That’s why I believe the decision will be based off how things go the first half with Motta.

  • @eaglet2000

    Fagioli will end up loaned in January '25. then it would depend on his performance. there is also Locatelli fighting for a spot. The choice is Loca vsThuram as a starting player.

    • @AllJuveCast
      @AllJuveCast  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don’t think he will be loaned out but he does have a battle on his hands without a doubt. He needs to step it up if he wants to be in consideration for a main spot.

      He’s on a final contract year… free in the summer. So if a team wanted to spend and he had a clause it would be tough for Lille to get that release clause amount with teams being able to wait.

    And he won’t do shit mark my words. He is not a type of player, he is more like a tapIn player which we all ca do if the opportunity is arrived hahahah
    He should be leaving Juve
    Fagioli is ok player but he won’t become Marchisio kind of player NEVER!!
    So if Juve is happy with Ok player then is that ok I would say Juve should and must aim for more quality specially in midfield.

    From the small sample size we've seen, Fagioli does not have the discipline to play double pivot

      @AllJuveCast  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@AllJuveCast I’m fine with him at 10, but he is too casual , too much flair, to play in front of the defense , especially when one of the defenders is gatti who is also sometimes casual with the ball

    • @AllJuveCast
      @AllJuveCast  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @kytaem I actually think there’s no flair from him and he’s too quick to not remain on the ball and progress it anywhere near his capabilities. The pivot with Loca wasn’t good between the two of them but maybe the next time they share it it’ll be much improved. We have to see and gauge on a match to match basis but I’d like to see him in the ten role.

    every week we always got new news about this player is not useful anymore, that player is obsolete. jeez
    and after arthur playing just one match we probably gonna here arthur gonna be staying and becoming motta no.1 pick LOL
    all those news only trying to annoy us and making us lose our focus on thropy.
    IF 6 midfielders is enough for 50s matches in this season, arthur would probably freeze.
    thats a simple logic.
    even merda have so much depth on their midfield with frattesi and nobody moaning and talking about their redundancy.
    i often saw a photographer bringing 3 heavy camera on a wedding day and end up only use 1.
    so why having fagioli which is cheap, academy product, reliable, is making so much trouble?
    just 1 game with roma, and its enough to started the witch hunt.
    lets make dumb analogy and comparison
    fagioli salary is 2.3M euro per season
    douglas luiz salary is 4.5M euro per season
    do you see twice the performance of douglas luiz better than fagioli in roma match?
    it was the game plan, and we have to admit de rossi made good decision to counter motta tactics.
    and we have to stop talking just about individual brilliance.
    nobody in starting eleven or the subs playing as they want because roma coach made a good game plan, they play good games.
    so why beating fagioli, or locatelli when none of the other players making solo indivual zig zag and made a fantastic goal ala weah at ac milan or roberto baggio in juventus???
    sometimes im so done with current gen juventus supporters and reporters. so reactionary based opinions and biased.
    and the usual target always italian players in juventus. i wonder why.

    • @AllJuveCast
      @AllJuveCast  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s not a problem… the question is will he be able to benefit enough and grow. The famous quote from none other than Del Piero is “if you’re at Juventus you must improve, period.”
      Whether he can get enough minutes to do so will be a story this season. Otherwise he could be in a Miretti situation where maybe he needs continuity to do so… 🤷🏻‍♂️
      For now, he’s a great option off the bench but will it be enough for progression. He is going to have to make the most of his appearances… I hope he does. 🤞🏻
