Does anyone actually feel scared of rogues? They need this. There are some rogues who have still owned me, but generally they've been pretty lame. They've needed gear to be good. This gives them a little more power in lower lobbies, which is much needed. Sub25 rogue is trolling.
The big thing with being able to reach 75% PDR again is that the difference in damage taken, technically, is much less when you get that last 10%. For context, from moving from 65% PDR down to 75% PDR, you’re taking roughly 25%-30% less damage, or rather your health is basically lasting you that much longer. So that last 10% is a big difference, though specifically only when facing PDR as fighter, or Magic Damage as Barb.
yes the iron will one is huge but my point is as a fighter if you were at 65% pdr most of the things you were fighting you should already be beating. if you didnt beat them at 65% you probably wont beat them at 75%
@@toddfatherttv Yeah that's fair. Only thing I'd maybe say is that it does mean you get to save more meds, your healing becomes functionally more effective, and your ability to be ready for a third party fight right after winning a 1v1 is better as you'll be more topped up.
I think this patch may have single-handedly added a new rogue build. I think I would call it the "Shadow Duelist" or maybe "Blink Rogue". Skills: Hide, Rupture. Perks: Hide Mastery (for the 30% cooldown reduction), Ambush, Dagger Mastery, Poison Weapon (just better than thrust). Build for Resourcefulness (to reduce hide cooldown further) in addition to the normal rogue stuff like MS and True Damage. This build can use the sudden bursts of movement to approach ranged classes while dodging hits. Also to weave in and out of melee like a slayer. Use throwing knife to maintain poison stacks while hide comes back.
@@masterzilla8727 ah yes, the only spell in the entire game besides hydra, exclusive to those class and underwhelming spells in every single other scenario Add more counters to rogue D&d
How are we feeling about them taking longer to cook on patches? So far seems like them taking 2 or 3 weeks for a bigger patch is kind of working out. I'm all for it. We got way too used to patches weekly that were kind of bad. Overall a massive W.
Wow, a good patch. Maybe double stelth might be kinda op, and they forgot cast dagger. i feel like that dagger has been lost for a long time, and the armor shield changes compile to each other. i feel like Pdr is gunna to be stronger now.
Just make support Druid and support Warlock better over time with new spells and perks so there are more support options. As they've stated after Sorcerer they plan on Monk and then Paladin as well. So I'm assuming they're going to add a support element there, too. Having the role adds depth to the game, but being forced into only ONE must-have class for that role is a huge problem.
@@drakemaris65 Best way to attempt to balance it (easier said than done, though, of course) is to give each support a niche comp that they're good with.
I’ve been feeling really glassy as a fighter lately I’ve been doing massive damage to people but I’ve been getting insta killed somehow. Even though I got 60% health and fighting another fighter
I would like to see weapons with effects like antiheal, but with compromised damage. It would create build variation. For instance a ragged sword thats applies 30% antiheal for 3 sec without stacking, but with less damage compared to other swords. They could also add poisoned arrows as a skill for rangers. Perhaps add an arrow skill on rangers, where they get a spell wheel to choose arrow and then they can choose between arrows they brought as if it was a spell count. Total number of arrows could be based on their quiver rarity.
If they added subclassing, alot of current skills and perks could be integrated with each other. Some perks should be integrated into classes. For instance shield slam, I would argue would be better as innate for shields, or as a perk. Hold shield block and attack with left mouse to bash. It would give shield users a little bit of cc.
I wish they would create actual arenas. Maps designed for it. Could also create larger teams to make it more interesting. There could be traps, stairs height advantages etc. Also I dont know why they reintroduced mobs. I think most people agreed it was better without.
Random modifiers are now displayed on crafted and purchasable items from merchants, excluding the Goblin Merchant. Didnt they remove this to stop people constantly having to check the merchants every 30 mins?
lol wish they would be a bit more clear on some of the changes "adjusted damage" etc. they also changed somehtings without mentioning, sucha as my arena ranger losing 4 hp for no reason according to patch notes
a couple people are starting to get very good at healer druid. it pumps out crazy healing numbers lol way more total heals per spell charges than cleric. obvbiously its not burst heal but a skilled player using this build has extremely high value in trios. druid+ buff duration demonlock and bard
the question is how fighter is getting buffed every patch, while pdr is the best stat besides HP and while the longbow is the best ranged weapon in the game. And imma be honest, swapping a few numbers still doesnt make the game more interesting.
Yea glad they brought back to see rolls on merchant sold gear but being able to see the rolls on crafts again is wild. I mean the item isn't technically "crafted" yet. Why can I see its rolls..
@saint_snow yeh. And the entire reason to remove them, was to remove min maxing crafted gear. However I thought about it some more after I typed my initial comment. A big reason they did not want us to be able to min max crafted gear, was that people that played more could unlock affinity on multiple characters and had a greater chance to create bis gear. At least now everyone gets affinity on all characters. So its at least not such unfair advantage. However another reason they added random rolls, was that they didnt want swapping characters every 30 min to look for perfect rolls, to be a part of the gameplay loop. Now it kind of is again. There will be players who spend considerable time just browsing merchants to look for bis. Which is not really exciting gameplay, but very effective.
Can you put gameplay in the background for these kinds of videos? just take snippets of the changes you want to talk about when you're talking about them and put them off center, it doesnt have to be new footage, just anything lol, just an idea, i hope it helps viewer retention!
The thing with cleric is if you are like me and only play solo and you are a cleric then you would get completely fucked by a cleric nerf. Cleric is so terrible in solos it's tragic.
