Gold will try to nickel out. However, it was much more positive on the coins. If it shows you like 8 coins without the iron break it's probably good metal like gold.

You didn't try it with screw caps pull tabs and ring pulls.......they usually ring up as coins......
It'll be interesting to see what it says......
