Thanks! It is so hard to get that first 1,000 as you well know. TH-cam is for sure a marathon and not a sprint. Thanks again and I'm sure you are going to break that benchmark sooner than later!
Thanks! I wished I would have seen this earlier. The side pitch you demonstrated should help me out alot. I fish out of a boat that even when I'm standing, I'm pretty much even with the surface of the water so when I pitch I lack distance.
Love how you talk to the camera . Your voice and tone is so calming . It’s not like you drank 8 energy drinks before you shot this video😆 like them other guys
Great video. Really like these instructional type videos that hopefully will help people new to bass fishing, like me, get to the next level. Thanks Steve!
You're welcome! I try super hard to make it worth someone's time and I hope they get value from the information. I wish this existed back when I was a youngster and getting started.
Great video!!!👊🏻 I agree the more the practice the better you will become. I've been trying to use my other hand and it's working ok but have to get more practice with it. Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
More good info! I've always been a pretty basic angler (been working so no complaints lol) but things like this are what I'm needing to take it to the next level! Working slowly towards some tournaments and getting more consistent at my angling skills. Thanks again for your tips and tricks, been giving me plenty of things to practice in the backyard while stuck at home!
When I first started tournament fishing I learned so much so fast. It was really the first time I had been forced to fish in every possible scenario. Those first few events were rough, but the information I amassed was incredible.
@@SteveRogersOutdoors I'm hoping to "hone" in more skills over this summer utilizing tips from people like you. Maybe next year try my hands at being a co-angler in a few tournaments here in Michigan.
I do very well with my dominate side but I have to say that after watching some of the videos I find it alarming because if I didn’t know any better you are out there hiding somewhere watching me fish 😂😂 Good stuff man, I really do need to work harder on my non dominate stuff, I Co-Angle a lot in my club and find myself in need of doing just that.

Just got a kayak ready to go to another level I can't wait to use these techniques thx Steve
Good luck! Congratulations on the kayak too!
Skipping under brush is the absolute stones for ponds and small lakes. Tight lines!
I agree. It is so much fun!
Two types of casts. 🤘
just found this one. So helpful and it removed a lot of the frustration of learning the technique.
Awesome! Thanks for watching.

I use the pitch skip from the side a lot. I think you will really like it with the situation you have. Good luck!

It took me some time to commit to it. I think you will pick it up fast and if you are co-angling a lot I'm sure it will come in real handy.
First time watching your videos, excellent content! I subbed and looking forward to more great info.
Thank you! Let me know if you have ideas or questions. I am always looking for great ideas to dive into.
