What an impressive display of teamwork and skill! This full episode beautifully illustrates the meticulous process of clearing the lake by pouring soil and rocks. The coordination and expertise of the team, along with the precision of the bulldozer, are truly commendable. Kudos to the entire team for their hard work and dedication in transforming the landscape! 🚜🌊
Holy moly! 11.5 hours of dump trucks and bulldozer action! Big thanks to the uploader for using real time background sound! And big props to the dozer operator, a real master at work!
Nice to see the next flood cleverly diverted to make sure it takes out all the nearby houses. Its obviously a nice low point so I presume they will build onit to ensure catastrphice setlement takes place. Did you see the clever draingae put in place? neither did I.
@@uowebfoot Your comment is contemptuous. Indeed there are problems with these fillings. My in-laws are cambodian, so I know the problem, since all this work took place, they have water in the house, and they know why. They are over 70 years old, so they know their country.
Quote: '@freddog5218' "there has to be a lot off flat topped hills in this country" The American Press gave me the impression that China had invaded South Asia, and yet a Brand New Japanese Bulldozer is being used! I expected the Bulldozer to a 'Sony', or some other Chinese Brand.... I don't know what model or weight of Komatsu Bulldozers they are using, but the standard for moving & compacting dirt/soil is the Caterpillar D9 0r D11 at around 125 tons. If this is to be a Flood Barrier, you'd need the soil to as compacted as possible, otherwise it will all wash away with the next flood.
I thought it was brilliant. I watched the whole programe. Filling in the dam. Did you use a drone. I think at one point there must have been at least 6 drones flying at onece. Cant wait to wstch more of your work. Only found you yesterday.👍👍👍👍👍
i expect they just covered the trees with the muck,it will come back and bite u,never did show that part did we in the video,so we have to take your word on it
Being a back seat driver as I am, I wonder why the dozer operator doesn't angle his blade more than he does, if he does it at all. His dozer obviously has the ability to do so. By angling his blade at times, he would be able to keep the dirt from going onto the roadway and other less desired places. But, I am only a back-seat driver, at best... And, where are they getting all that dirt? Are they cutting down a mountain?
Watching the people was fascinating. They seemed to be totally amazed by dump trucks and a bulldozer. It was also interesting to see the people at the end capturing the small fish by hand. I'm sure for many it was a chance for a free meal. I hope whoever is responsible for this doesn't plan on building another high-rise concrete apartment building on that muck. I imagine it will be several years before it stops settling and sinking.

Your comment is interesting. In fact, they block water holes everywhere, which are often rice fields in addition, and as the water can no longer be there, it goes elsewhere. I have family in Cambodia, the water has been coming into their house since everything is blocked. In Europe, we have been doing these stupid things for years, and the Cambodians who could benefit from our bad experience are doing the same thing.
They are destroying their country. I loved Phnom Penh, very traditional, but now there are these shabby buildings that are everywhere in the world. The capital has lost its Khmer identity.

What will be going on that site now? How did they deal with power lines so low now?

that's why machineries are invented
to deal with slow settling... also concrete
and steel are available for that purpose.

there has to be a lot off flat topped hills in this country.
This is the same principle as how they built Hong Kong Airport in 2021.
