After watching how much faster things get built, I'll start to build storages close to the work site. I find most of my late game gameplay is waiting for the beavers to build the next project but your technique seems to massively increase productivity in larger colonies. Thanks for the lesson!
Cool, a new video, and the evening's entertainment is guaranteed. Thanks to you I started using underground pipeline in my world and it works great thanks for that. keep it up it's really good content.
Honestly not only you play the game in God mode, but even the editing is absolutely insane...absolutely in love with this season, and I will slowly catch up the previous X)
Hey icy! I do plan on re-doing the down town district in a future video and will probably mix in some large row houses then. I've had so much space to spread out in this map that I haven't been making the living areas as compact as they could be.
At this point i feel like i am vicariously playing through watching this video coz I am also the kind of person who would hoard items to no end and still feel like I can hoard more. That's what i feel when i look at the beautiful dams. Hope you consider maxing out every single beaver happiness point before creating the endgame structure. Actually dreading that we are prolly not too far from the end of this series now.
29:30 think since there is a 1 block gap, there was some good water trapped there long enough, coupled with those others set wrong is what caused the problem. maybe switching to multi-tiered sluices like the outflow of good water will take care of that easily enough
I think it would be better to put the sluices on the same side of the water sources. That way the new water will flush out the old water quicker and the sluices can change properly.
The 1x1 vertical pipe pouring water into the reservoir from the top is slower because waterfalls of any height in Timberborn have a max flow rate. This caps the initial fill speed of the reservoir, but as soon as it fills to the top, there is no more waterfall and the flow rate becomes uncapped. This is also why your spill tower water level rises, because the flow rate is capped on the reservoir side. If you fill from the bottom like you did in the initial set of experiments, there’s no waterfall and the flow rate is uncapped!
For my top loading reservoirs I put 3 sluice gates for 3 waterfalls to help counter the rate limit. Each should allow for 2.2cms of flow individually for a total 6.6cms. In some other tests I've found that you can stack waterfalls this way get a lot of throughput though a 1x1 channel
16:30 Right when you detonated your dynamite and said that you hoped that your computer didn’t crash, I got an ad, and in the split second that I didn’t know what’s what, I thought that your computer did crash😂 Edit: Darn misspelling!
oh, I love this series so much! Not sure if you mentioned already what the bawl is for, I can't understand. Holding bad water? good water? underground storage?
My plan is to make a multi-level city for the bots: forestry, science, production, and vast storage facilities of logs, planks, and steel for future mega structures!
at 1:20 it looks like a bot died? It lived it's last few moments walkin around only to die in a field, kinda funny but also sad lol, possible beaver statue for said beaver maybe?
If you detonate the new dam area with it filled at top, i recall a weird bug where it just populates the water underneath. Idk if that is still in the current version.
Its so good to watch someone playing this game competently
yaaaaaay new zeddic timberborn videoo!!!! my favorite moment of the week
Some Kazakh beaver down stream: "Where did the sea go?"
look how he blew up 2 bots @ 36:05 and then tried to clean it up with a transition, but you can stiil see the deaths in the chat 😭
Oh no! I've been found out!
@@ZeddTheBuilder busted
I just binged watched the Whitewater series and finally caught up to this one. I'm glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work!!
I re-watched all the eps in this series because I enjoy how you play the game so much.

wooohooo! Saturday is saved with a great new video from Zeddic 😍
Saved from @RealCivilEngineer 😂

This is an insane Timberborn city. It's amazing how thirsty beavers can be.

amazing video once again!! love it!
PLEASE i keep commenting this, replace some of your regular barracks with large row houses, they are significantly more efficient.
eh its not that important if at all, housing space is abundant, maybe when its time to focus on happiness this becomes usefull

You in theory should be able to use bridges to get the zigzag damn into a straight line without messing up the stuff below.
Love these videos!
Loving the test world footage
Loving your videos :)
i was waiting for this one !!
Great work, keep it going!

@ I see. So the bottleneck is not the waterfall but is either the snake path or the upward pipe? Great video btw!
ohyeahhh
New junker town could be a insane water reservoir
All I want for Christmas is for The Algorithm to discover Zeddic
Gonna be a good night for me😅
07:05 “The size of the pipe is NOT really the concern.”
Okay. This is noted. 😂

I think making a separate tutorial video explaining stuffs you have found and researched would be great!
Keep on keeping on 👍👍👍

I find sluse gate help with directional flow
Nice!

👏👏👏👏👏
Honey, come quick! Zeddic posted a new video
To reduce lag you should try to replace every block you can with terrain blocks becouse terrain is treathed as a single ogject.
If you detonate the new dam area with it filled at top, i recall a weird bug where it just populates the water underneath. Idk if that is still in the current version.
Hi, any recomendation to configurate Timberborn? I have a Dell G15 and I play it with lag, by the other hand I can play Elder Ring with no problem.
Is the plan still to eventually get all badtide and badwater sources to power your big power station? Love this series by the way 😊
That's still the plan! With all the bad water going through one path I'm really curious to see how much HP I can generate from the power plant.

Why don't you just make a Tesla valve
