Ahhhh Shiranui. Can you believe my Bastion won 1 out of 2 games with it in a tournament? Going 2nd against Shiranui kinda helps
Did you use the typical bastion list, or some sleeper list?
@@JusticeShines standard with some spice in it. Just add in the Blaster Dark rideline and 2 of the grade 1 that turns grade 3's to 5k shield and 2 of the 10k shield dragon from BT04 I think
but doesnt grandeur edge have the same skill as Embrace Dragon? Or do you run both for maximum defense?
@@drizzleleigh6853 the 2nd point. My thinking was that Bastion's problem is shield. I can push to get to 4 damage by turn 4 before ending the game, but how do I live until then? I just make sure all cards in my hand can be turned to defensive cards and not call a back row. Without a back row their first stride kinda doodoo. I lost the 2nd game due to 2 crits when I was on grade 1. Lost my tempo there
@@drizzleleigh6853 and also make sure to only have grandeur edge in your front row. If the dominate with Mukuro, the VG only goes up to 22, but grandeur edge is 23 by default so it can't take out anything without hitting triggers. If you have an Alden in front, overcall grandeur on top of it. Use Alden's skill and trash the guy. Hence also why I run the 10k dragons cause grandeur is always on field
If shiranui wasn't a stride deck, this would be so much bearable, or would it be worse?
Are you suggesting take away the G-Zone but still give the ability to Dominate and give the VG the ability to persona ride?
Yes... that would sound very much worse, but without triple drive and no front row boosts being each g unit face up sounds like a good trade off
This deck will definitely have a hit once the banlist is active

Newest set of bushiroad mistakes.
Shiranui is so good that premium deck is literally just a standard shiranui deck add 6 card, add premium triggers, and add premium stride. Its genuinely that strong
Wait, Luard player had both OT and crit on the last Shiranui vg swing. The OT can guard the last Maguntenbu swing, the crit could've guarded the other rg with no 100 mil and Luard can at least risk for a 6th dmg heal from the 100 mil double crit rg swing. The 6th dmg from the Luard did actually pull a heal so there was a potential next turn
True but there was elementaria to stop Dragstrider so it was probably gonna end the same
@@Yu-yu7414 Yep, I also think Shiranui would've won regardless. Although, I was just pointing out that play because the Luard taking the last vg swing looked like a "giving up" kind of move even tho he could've lived.
If we're talking about how Luard could've won this matchup, I think the Luard player should've g2 gamed instead of riding up and attacking with no other units on field. While the latter play would've prevented one whole turn of Shiranui dominate stuff, it's just disadvantageous on the long run because Shiranui scales faster by getting first stride and they keep a bigger hand for late game.
The Luard player even had the minerva order (which was initially discarded to ride to g3) and it would've drawn into Teithfallt (she was the initial draw from Liafail draw 1 skill) so I can see the Luard trying to force the Shiranui to ride up first to at least get first stride advantage.
