Luck needed an Oline the colts failed him. RG3 just needed time to heal and Washington failed him. So sad truly think Luck could’ve been a HOF QB. RG3 I think couldve also been on pace for a HOF career. Colts have been on this crazy carousel since luck left.
I gotta disagree with you I think RG3 had too many holes in his game that were going to be exploited eventually. The read option was new and nobody knew how to gamelan against it but the league adapted. Plus he was very undersized and his style of play predisposed him to injuries. He may have played a couple seasons but he was never going to have a long career in my opinion
The ramifications of Luck retiring are still being felt today for the Colts. They have gone from veteran replacement quarterback to veteran quarterback year after year and now in the draft they will not get to draft either of the top two quarterback prospects. An interesting development would be Lamar Jackson there since it would help with the running offense that the Colts do primarily. Not sure if that is possible.

We clown cam Newton for still trying to play. But he’s been hurt all the time as well and rehabs. This is why coaches and GMs try to see if you really have a competitive edge or not. Rehab is apart of the game. Luck quit because he was tired of rehab
Andrew Luck is clearly a smart man and a realist, I don't think it was just being tired of rehab, it was also his own long term health that he was protecting. take a look at Joe Montana, Peyton Manning and Jim Plunkett to name but three; each one has endured multiple surgeries including spinal fusion -not a lot of fun no matter how much you're paid.
