You can see David Jason struggling to suppress a smile just when Trigger delivers his 'There it goes' line - they must've had a fantastic time filming !
Trigger walked into a mind your head sign when he was in school, aint that right trig? Yeah del didnt you see it? Yeah, but in them days, i couldn't read.
Although Trigger was a subsidiary character he stole every scene he was in. Brilliantly written and hilariously played by a hugely underrated actor. Every word of dialogue and every facial expression was priceless. RLP really nailed the part. I can't think of anybody else who could have played it as well as he did.
Trigger was so underrated. Best actor. Must have been very difficult to maintain such dead pan looks for the whole show. Should have got awards. May he R.I.P. ☘️🌝🌲
The key was that Roger Lloyd Pack played it totally straight. He never smiled or saw anything wrong with what he said. Brilliant acting. They say that it takes a good actor to play drama but a great actor to play comedy and Roger Lloyd Pack was certainly that, pure genius. Taken from us too soon. RIP Roger
Yeah...Everything he did...he was just so Brilliant....Here and in the Vicar Of Dibley.......he was perfect. RIP Roger. Thank you. I'm smiling so much. Thank you.

Del is the best character. Trigger is a great supporting character but could you imagine trigger being the main character...he would have had to change quite alot.
Trig's UFO sighting scene creases me - it is one of my favourite pieces of comedy. Roger Lloyd-Pack was such a talented comedic actor. High quality video too - thank you!
@@rh3836 they overact (detach from natural reactions) just enough to make it funny at the right times in a fluid way. (All the actors match each other's pace better than any sitcoms right now.) Same could be said of Father Ted and Keeping Up Appearances.
RIP Roger Lloyd-Pack. You were one of the true greats, sir. The Jimmy Saville line at the seance when Del and Rodney were discussing the vision of their Mum gets me every time 😂😂😂😂😂
My lungs are hurting watching this, I know the creator of the show wrote some good scripts but the actors in this were the ones who made this show special , I ll watch this until the end of times!! And pray to God to give Del Boy extra years cos he deserved em. Legend status!!😎
I love how Rodney was going to explain that their's nothing anybody can do about the black hole, then he realised he was talking to Trigger and decided just to be sarcastic to avoid having to explain things. Trigger: What are they going to do about it? Rodney: What are who going to do about it? Trigger: The government. Rodney: Their's nothing they......they're going to send McAlpine's up with a spaceship full of bricks. Trigger: Nah, they'd need more then one.
Trigger was a fantastic character. Roger Llyod put everything into his character ❤ same as Boycie, Marlene, Delboy, Rodney, Uncle Albert, Grandad Denzil and Mike and even Mickey Pearce were good cameo characters
I was too young to remember the early OFAH when they came out but I remember this one and consider it 'recent' but goes to show how far back it was when people were still smoking in pubs.
There will never be another only fools. Growing up in South Africa we would watch it all the time. Now that I’m in Canada, I can’t even make reference to any of the scenes. Sad.

Why was he underrated, who said he was,
Really, you don't like him? Everyone else thought he was great.
@Peye-pv4cb - there's always some complete prick who does the underrated line. They don't even know what it means, they just repeat it.
How is he underrated? He's considered iconic to everyone that watched it
I love Trigger, but Del’s “we’ve got time for quick one then..” makes me cry every time 😂
Roger Lloyd Pack was like John Laurie in Dad's Army. There in a supporting role but who constantly stole the scene with his brilliant acting.
For me Trigger was the real diamond of the show. Excellently played by Roger Lloyd Pack. Alright Dave 😂
He was well funny but they all did great, still the funniest British comedy show of all time

This is the reason his character was brilliant, in his mind so serious about what he said, was a great addition to OFAH
Only Roger Lloyd-Pack could pull off Trigger so well. Legendary comedy character
the one who played Trig I dont think anyone could have pulled the character off better then he did. got the dim personality just right

I haven’t clicked dislike. But this is one of the worst gags in the show. Awfully contrived and witless.

Trigger - best unknown brilliant character ever. Superb acting.
Trigger is the best character in fools and horses prove me wrong
Followed by uncle Albert
Grandad. Trig close second.
Trig then I’d have to tie granddad and Albert I haven’t got the heart to choose between them.
Not just only fools, but probably one of the all time best characters to grace tv itself
Del is the best character. Trigger is a great supporting character but could you imagine trigger being the main character...he would have had to change quite alot.
