Smashed Chicken Tacos

  • 1 lb. ground chicken or hamburger or pork or turkey
    half of a packet taco seasoning
    corn tortillas shells
    oil
    topping for the taco i choose shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped red,
    chopped tomatoes, diced avocado, and sour cream
    In a medium bowl and ground chicken and taco seasoning and mix well.
    Then divide meat into balls, it depends how much meat you want stuffed into your corn tortillas shells to how many tacos you get with the pound of ground chicken.
    Take a corn tortilla shell and put a ball of the meat into middle and mash the meat into the shell evenly into the shell.
    Repeat the process with with the meat and shells until you use all the meat up.
    Now heat up a skillet on medium heat with a little oil in the bottom of the skillet.
    Now carefully take your tortilla shell with meat, and lay meat side down into the skillet, you can do 2 at a time in the skillet.
    Cook and brown the meat taco till meat is cooked throughly like 2 to 3 minutes maybe, then flip with spatula and get the other side of the shell brown and toasty.
    Transfer the tacos to a plate, meat side up on paper towels to absorb some of the oil.
    Now add the toppings to your tacos and serve them.
