I just have this feeling Ubi is gonna let us down and allow players to just run around and shoot every guard they see like Breakpoint and Rainbow instead of taking the time to think and use stealth to go around conflict. We will see though....

Well, they announced Remake a long time ago....but there is no news since then, even PoP got some update news with its Remake (change of Devs), and SC just stays silent in the dark
BAM! Sam and Lambert were a spectacular team, able to be a field agent who gathers & processes Intel there and then, not a grunt just following orders...or just 'grunting' like Nomad in Breakpoint. He was seasoned, mature, intelligent & had depth. Thats missing from todays characters, and yet DROVE his stories! They've made him an arcade game caricature. I'm so glad they re-released the originals so we can remind ourselves of good storytelling & solid characters.
we need to rescue Sam M.F. Fisher from Ubifuk. Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon have been the only series I cared about since like buying my own console and they're shitting on them. it's infuriating.
Out of ubisofts 2500+ employees surely they can create Thee Sam Fisher game to beat all Sam Fisher game, just like the could with Ghost Recon, expect they are playing basketball without the ball, doesn't really get the job done now doesn't it.
A truly loaded character that gives you multiple angles to use as a protagonist! A former navy seal , turned super spy . Way ahead of the curb when talking realistic scenarios hero ! But yet … we can’t have neither a decent recent contemporary gameplay story to run ; nor his untapped background that could be used as a reintroduction to the fans … old & new ! Give me a linear game with decent animations & mechanics ( nothing groundbreaking; just chaos theory moves + GR ads’ing ) & call it " SC : fisher chronicles “ !! … 😩
The rant is a surprise, but a welcome one. Well said brother. However it should be "Stop shitting on Tom Clancy" at this point. Pandering and "representation" is all that's driving the narratives of Ubisoft games now. Truly pathetic.
although i like him being in other installments they just really do need to put him in another splinter cell game theres just so many game series that need to make a comback
I actually think an old Mario could be interesting. They already ruined Sam in Blacklist. None of those characters existed in the lore but for their names, except maybe Corbin or a smaller character. Ubi has shown for many games that they don’t deserve the rights to Tom Clancy’s name.

It should be an open-level game with levels similar in size to the recent Hitman games.
