Great presentation about the structural updates - your demonstrations for actually utilizing the new features are very well done! I covered electrical updates, and wish I had as much as you do to brag about!
In practical we dont provide splice in a plane , we gave splice in zig zag method in order to not form splice plane failure. I dont know its in there on revit 2025, other wise revit should add that feature in it.
Steel detailing in Revit… Can’t wait
It's all looking neat and tidy into the future with Revit 2025.

This takes of a lot of headache off and would save a lot of time.
Do you have any trick to give gap say 1cm or 2cm between the line foundation and walls. By default revit has no option for that.
Why didn't they do the splice operation with the couplers?
That is on the roadmap for the next release along with cranked splices
@@RevitStructureBlog good news) We use couplings in our work more often than overlaps
I will be very surprised if adsk can turn into Revit into a steel detailing package.
yeah man, hope adsk hears this 🤌
Splice doesn't work with freeform rebar😭
Yes, that is correct, not in this release but I do believe that this is on the roadmap for the next release along with cranked bars.
Neither with Area Reinforcement
Rebar splice doesn't seem to work very good :)
I know, there are more than don't work well
