If ever a game provided evidence of the immense growth & development of this team over the last couple of years, here it is. Absolutely magnificent effort from all 12 players. I loved how much the clean sheet meant to them and the celebrations after (the brilliant) Josh’s penalty save.
They knew that a single goal could really shift momentum towards Mill Hill and worked so hard to stave them off. Josh was outstanding throughout, Chris J so good at the back but all credit to Harry and Tai in a makeshift centre mid that were both absolutely magnificent!
All credit to the ref for standing firm. Such a tough job and first booking was 100% nailed on correct. He clearly had enough of their manager which I guess is why he started ignoring him as a Lino!
Great job as always Laurence, really enjoyed the clarity of the “on pitch” noise during this game, it was so crystal clear I could almost smell the linament! 😊

Fantastic game again by Rovers! Thought the defence played exceptional getting bodies and blocks in and whole team ignored the opposition and played through the 90 mins and didn't let the decisions phase them! Loved the little sharp banter between Tarique and the oppostion #49 with Tarique saying "I'm here to win" Lovely win and a clean sheet (Special Mention to Josh for saving that pen too and the follow-up and had some fantastic saves also today)

Excellent from Edmonton. The break did Tai well. He was excellent in this game. Knew that pen was getting saved - great keeper. However, was that really a sending off for the oppo player - looked harsh to say the least.

Fantastic job from the referee on this one - genuinely. Made a huge call with the first booking and got it bang on. Can't speak to the second yellow as its off camera, but even the in-direct free kick off the goalkeeper is playing the game to the letter of the law. Sadly Mill Hill want to play by the rules they remember not the ones that exist.
Edit: Now in the second half and Mill Hill thought they could call their own decisions. If the ref is playing advantage as indicated you can't put your hand on the ball and decide to stop it. Idiots.
