- Metal Detecting our incredible Hammered silver COB Field never seems to disappoint. Each week we keep slowly pushing our way down the field on to new sections of the field and we keep uncovering some of the coolest and oldest coins and relics we could hope to find in America! This week is no exception and we do another stretch of field and all day long we're digging some amazing old coins and buttons, so many that we literally lost count! What a field this has been and I promise that it is not even close to being done!

Lynne you are such a trooper for standing out there in the cold and wind…. At least digging holes you work up a bit of a sweat, you must have been freezing!
2nd Request for Dog Tag Doug Mexican Doug Jane Fon-Doug to be my honorary Grandpa
You have my blessing Grandson.
Nice striper in your avatar
Lynn "Yea right" lol
My wish to hunt with you guys!
You better step back further😂😂😂 Doug you’re the best!
Thanks Josh. I like keeping it light.
In the old days they would nail a penny over the front door for good luck! I think that's what Rich found.
Found a plethora of buttons did not see Benjamin 😅
👋🙏❤️
You could have named this video: What'd ya find?? Button-honey 😁
Like a baby bottom ! Lol😊
Dang, must've been a group of people out there, way back when, tearing or cutting their clothes off, with all the buttons, geez, whataya think they were doing out there? Haha...
Must have been a nudist colony in that field to lose all those buttons
Let me guess,IT'S A BUTTON 😂
Okay second LOL
And, as yet, you guys have barely skimmed the surface! What other history awaits you all on this busy field?....... Onward!
Great finds as always crew but Doug singing SpongeBob was the best!!!
Hello Quarter Hoarder,Dog Tag Doug,Rich ,Charlie and Matt
Hello Quarter Hoarder gang! Still diggin goid stuff from there. Doug I wonder, do you watch Sponge Bob on your spare time??😂 Grand kids for sure huh?? 👍😘
Yea, I still haven’t grown up
@@dogtagdoug6751 😂
Jason you crack me up,the nursing home coment and when doug said your button had a full shank and you replyed thankyou left me in tears ,great hunt guys thanks for sharing😂!
"Better step back further" 😂..Awesome hunt, excellent work on saving that history!
You guys were definitely gluttons for buttons in that hunt! But, when it came to coppers, you definitely weren't paupers! Gotta Love It!
Jason..your "Whats in the clump" Nursing Home edition made me spit up my Diet Coke all over the floor. Absolutely hands down the funniest thing you have ever said in a video. To boot....I got a visual, and that's where things turned dark...LOL. Classic stuff my friend.
Rich is definitely Gary the Snail
LMAO You guys are too funny.
Get right in the Liberty Lynn shine your light
Another great video. The sheer number of things found makes me wonder what used to be at that location way back when.
That promotion sounded like you've taken professional tease lessons! Congrats to all for the incredible amount of buttons and old coins you've found- can't wait for the next episode!
Well, the mic you spent beaucoup bucks on really worked out. I could hardly hear the sound of the wind blowing 😊 You definitely got your moneys worth!
Nipple buttons and circular circles, a real button bonanza.
Rich found the secret unmarked GW button!
Love the wind protection, sounded so good, yeah! You guys are so much fun to watch. What’s in the clump is hysterical!!
Thanks Nette. We do try to have a little fun and hope that is somewhat amusing.😊
👍👍
everybody should read the book Rambo.
A field of a thousand Buttons. Congrats on all of the Buttons. Love all of them. Congrats on all the Coppers. Great Hunt guys. Take Care
Absolutely hilarious crew. Great videos.
I love the banter between all of you. You make me LOL every video. ✌❤
got me ready to go hunt ! thank you !
Great buttons and coins, but Doug singing the Sponge Bob song made the video 😂
They are a wealth of knowledge on coins and buttons. Their expertise is mind boggling!!! Expertise on SpongeBob and the Simpsons that is 😭😭
All kidding a side great to see you guys out having fun and digging keepers finds.
Huckleberry Lynn is soo elegant the way she breaks apart a dirt clod for a reveal. Better than these dudes with sausage mitts!! LOLZ ♥️
It's not THAT fun playing "what's in the clump" at the nursing home when the answer is "corn" every single time... Btw, the rings around the nipple on that button is called "areola".
We really didn’t want to get any more graphic than “nipple”! 😅
@@dogtagdoug6751 in Europe we like to get REALLY graphic. That's part of why all the prudes left and founded USA 😉
Agreed
I long for the day to find a coin older than 65 and not as much junk. I have lots of permissions but I guess terrible luck..Iowa doesn’t help.
Lynne, you need to show clothing with different buttons. What did seamstresses use to attach buttons? How were buttons sold in the earlier times? When were the different metals, glass, wood, shell materials used? A little bit about military uniforms and buttons would be nice to see. Give us references so we can further our education, too. A little history on who may have occupied the land, ancestors of what European countries, military skirmishes, etc. Has there been any thought to just preserve the sites where the unique coins were found. That might be something Quarter Hoarders could do with the state's Historic Preservation Department. Artifacts, often go into private collections. It would be nice to have an old farmstead set aside in honor of the many who honored and cared for the land. Love your videos and the wonderful individuals who form your group.😊❤
How's rich liking the Accupoint?
Rich is the man. He's no dummy
I'll never want to see what's in Doug's clump again!! Lol
Hey I'm the first comment
I thought your last video had a lot of buttons, this week even more, Congrats on the buttons and old Copper.
Another great video. Buttons was cool. C-U-next week. Take Care.
I think the button at 14:30 is a flower. The dots in the middle are the stamen and seed area, and the 'wreath' is the edge of its petals. Love you all!
That brush would make a baby cry😂😂😂
You go Rich
Rich is Plankton! Everyone knows that.
Already jazzed for next week. And THANK YOU to the neighbors that are allowing you to expand this hunt into their own yards. What an amazing site.
9th like, good tuesday afternoon, quarter hoarder
Cool hunt guys thanks for sharing!¡!!!
22:57 i think its a dutch coin from the 1750s it says on the first side zee lan dia and under the text the date its called a ''duit'' here in the nederlands
Another Great Day of Digging!!! I love the buttons!!! Congratulations to all of you!!! God Bless Us All!!!
WHAT STATE ARE YOU GUYS IN??? I'M IN THE STATE OF FRENZY...L.O.L.!!!LOOKS KINDA LIKE PENNSYLVANIA!!!
Right across the river in New Jersey
A perpendicular circle!!!!
Fun fact, SpongeBob was originally made for Adult Swim...
I agree. The modern day Rocky and Bullwinkle
That was what they called a Booby Button...
So Lynn is RVW’s mother??? I thought she was his girlfriend!!!
Yes, mother-son.
What do you do with those coins that you cannot see anything on
Thank you for sharing this enjoyable video with us six stars my friends
Keep Swingin 💪
How come Lynn does not detect also?
Button button who lost there button
I wish had a good place to metal detect😮
NICE FINDS CHAPS!!!
I guess the d buckle
Lobster mobster 😅
👍👍
I like the buttons
eye eye Captain
Nice finds
GW
Why doesn't Lynne get herself a metal detector and join in the fun of digging up some way cool things? Nice hunt guys.
She has shoulder issues. She loves just eyeballing for surface finds and being a “lovely assistant” when one of us is lucky enough to get a good target
She is definitely good to have along with her knowledge of antiques. That disturbed dirt always has some surface finds.
What was the history of the field?
The town about a half mile away was settled by Quakers in the mid 1600’s, when they left England to escape religious oppression. Those fields have been farmland since then. Owing to the fact there were homes all along the nearby creek and that manual labor was the order of the day, much has been lost or dropped over the centuries. We’re just lucky enough to be the first to detect the land. 4:36
One of those low tones could end up gold
You’re right. Stay tuned in future weeks
Hi guys from Florida
Hello Florida. I’ll be down your way next week for Spring training
Where are you going in Florida?
Clearwater, Orlando and Ocala. And points in between
Cops gonna be nosy.
No, he was a cool dude. He actually hunts that area often for the Native American artifacts and does quite well. He said he has some contacts he’ll hook us up with.
Those were some button losing people around there. Besides watching you dig up history, I once commented when your were at around 9 or 10,000 subcribers, that man is going to go far. 75k and still rolling. Your blend of witty remarks and finding plenty of relics is the perfect combination to keep people's interest. I hope you can keep your crew as Kurt of the HB has only faceless Mark left. But I still love to watch HB,s You had me hooked as well as many of my friends with your interactions with Pirate Paul and his famous Beanie!!😂😂
Missed you guys at Digstock last weekend - heard your Air B&B from last year was still available.
That was the single worst AirBNB that exists on planet earth. 🙂
I agree
@@dogtagdoug6751 Did you say you were going to Florida for spring training?
Next Friday. I have a one year option on my contract, I’m going to exercise.
W.I.T.C.H. What's in the clump hunt! Yee-Haa!!😂😊
I thought that SUV going across in the background when you found that button was a bull for a minute. Lol. 😅
I really enjoy watching you guys finds . I would love to see those items after you take them home and do a really good cleaning to see if you can see any details on them 👍
Awesome hunt and finds Congrats Guys, Can't wait for the next one
The history of this place would be very Interesting to know there had to have been a lot of trade or something going on in this area.
I really enjoyed this hunt. All those cool buttons and coins.
Another good hunt. I would love to hunt on fields like the ones you guys hunt on.
Yet another great hunt guys. Til next time happy hunting
What an amazing crew! Great finds!
Holy button bonanza!!!
Thanks everyone for a great video… looking forward to the next one!
Classic head cents were made with a softer alloy, and really nice specimens are rare.
