We as humans understand what is happening, but innocent animals get stuck to them, panic, and literally tear themselves apart trying to get free. All the while, they die an agonizing death of hypothermia, starvation, etc. It can take days of suffering. It’s so sad and I think it’s important to know, and this video would be a great way to teach that while being more lighthearted and fun.
At what point do the sticky traps loose their stickiness? From being wet, extreme temperatures, dehydrated. Can you combine it with other materials such as cornstarch?

Ugh, our cat got an old glue trap stuck to his belly and it was a nightmare. FYI - if it ever happens, you can use goo gone to dissolve the glue trap stuff on fur and it's non-toxic (though we did rinse him off really well afterwards... best night ever... not really...)
Alright, here's my idea. You take the glue traps, attach them to a trampoline the same way you did to the wooden board, bundle up one Grace in the same protective gear, have her fall backwards onto the trampoline, and see if the glue traps are strong enough to fight the upward momentum.
