Just found your channel and I really enjoy the reports at the beginning of each video. Really Appreciate the work and dedication that goes in there.
While watching your playthrough, it always "tickles" me to go and buy the game, however I find it difficult to really get in it.
There are so many aspects of the game and just the ship designer alone feels so overwhelming, I just wouldn't know what to put in my ships and if the design is ready, if it could even compete with the AI designs. And then after that, managing my fleet to be relatively up-to-date with the tech. XD
    Thank you for the Videos.

Thanks for the comment, mate! I am happy you are enjoying the lets play :)
I totally get what you mean. I have been sort of forcing myself to get into the game for some time. I have small children too so finding time to experiment and look at it was really rare, which is why I am still quite far away from being completely adept at the game. However once you get in, it's amazing. You can build a lot around the game, make your own story and experiment. I was never really that much into the ships until I played enough HOI4 and realised the power of navies. Then I started watching Drachinifels videos (check him out, you can learn a ton from his videos), and from there it was a few steps here :)
I'd say if you really want to try it, just do it, don't let the game scare you awat. I practiced a lot with Austria-Hungary and USA which can easily stay isolated with small/very small navies to not get overwhelmed and then experimented in the battles. And hey, if you don't feel it, you still supported the devs and increased the likelihood of RtW4 :)

    Are battlecruisers battleships?
If not poeple will be angry

The difference is usually in armor schemes

As @Newtz said battlecruisers are usually of similar size, but are usually faster, lighter armoured and have slightly smaller caliber of main guns. Their goal is usually to hunt cruisers.
However with all of these distinctions it is super hard to give any specifics. One nations battleship can be a cruiser for another, it all depends on time and many ships are even reclassified as time goes and they have work done on them. So don't look for any exact measurements.

So much tonnage losses for coutries. That can't be from wars, there's the US-Spain only, so I expect AI is scrapping the oldest ships.

yup, I am sure that is the case. Thought I am not sure that I ever saw such a massive occurrence. Then again I have not that much hours in and I never tracked it this thoroughly.

@@Alfapiomega you should follow suit and scrap some as well :)

I plan to. After the current war any ship that can't sail at least 22 knots is a candidate for replacement.
