I am a year shy of 30 never done this before in my life as of today I have completed my third acrylic painting. They look like crap but I am proud of them.
I think all mine look like crap. I didn't start getting into painting until I was about 30, also. Joined a meet-group. But I keep going. Don't care how bad they look. You do the same.
Loved it. I am new to Acrylic painting, always used oil in the past. This is the first painting I've done where I'm not ashamed to show to people. Thank you so much.
I have not painted since I was a teenager .. so many years! But I made your sunset with a boat painting and I can’t be more happier than I am right now. It came out amazing! Thank you for teaching us, and sharing with us your paintings. Thank you 🙏 ❤️ wish u could see it.
I really hope that you see my comment. I am 26 years and I have never held a brush in my hand.I was always intimidated by anything related to art to try it by myself! For the very first time in my life I tried out a watercolour after seeing your video and it turned out really amazing for a beginner like me! seriously I cant express how happy I am.Tysm for your videos. So glad that you are uploading regularly nowadays.lots of love 💕
I hope you really see this. I'm a 12 year old and had always had a interest in art and started off with anime (like most artists) I'm mostly good at drawing, and only portraits as well. I thought I should discover other sides of art and started watching your videos. I've never done any art classes or tutorials before because I never really needed them. My friends and family said my drawings are good but after I painted a picture from your tutorials, they were truly amazed. Thank you sooo much. I really think I can improve my painting ability with your videos. Thank youuu!!! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just started watching your videos and I can say that I already love them. Compared to others videos I've seen, you are explaining what you are doing and how. Very helpful for a beginner like me. Bravo!!!!!!!👏👏👏👏
Hello!please tell what type of paints u use and also the canvas (can we use some sketchbook type material for this) and from where can I get them btw ur painting is amazing
Beautiful! Great Lesson. fyi you camera is amazing It makes the lesson much easier to learn with a close up of what your teaching, I love your blending method , The colors are beautiful, Thank you,
I'm brand new to painting... Like, haven't painted a picture yet kind of brand new. This is so beautiful, my face colors, and looks easy enough to try. I'm definitely trying this right now! Thank you for posting this! I hope mine turns out as beautiful as yours. 🥺
Why was this so complicated for me? 😭 I know absolutely NOTHING about painting, so these questions may be silly. I could not get the colors to blend easily. I found a way for it to look okay, but not like this. Is it because of the brand of paint? Brushes? I got a paint set from Amazon that included paint, thin canvases, brushes. Then I have cheap Walmart paint (Apple Barrel). I used a flat looking rectangle brush for the main colors, thin angled brush for the trees. My lines on my trees (reflection) look harsh, the top of the trees look okay-ish, and the main color lines are sorta harsh in spots, plus sucky blending. It took almost 2 hours. I aim for perfection, and I know my first time painting will not be no where near perfect, but it's aggravating me because I don't know how to do this correctly orcwhere i messed up. Can anyone please give me tips or tell me what I did wrong? Thanksss!😭😭😭
I really enjoyed your tutorial, soft soothing raining sounds, with subtitles, the piece you did reminded me of days as a kid spent at the cottage, awesome work. New Subscriber!!
I used this video to create one of my first acrylic paintings, wasn't perfect but I was happy with the result. This video was so helpful, thank you so much!
Gebtke AtnadArt....thank you for the close up of the delicate brushwork from the side of the painting. Your camera angles are wonderful. I appreciate your tutorials and wish you much success in your future.
thank you for making these videos. I just got into painting with acrylics and your videos help me learn A LOT and they're super easy to follow. thank you so much again, you're a lovely artist and I appreciate all the videos and tutorials :)
This is great! 😍😍The art is definitely beginner, but some people don’t have the right brushes, so maybe you cloud do a tutorial with only one medium brush or something? Idk
It is the first time in my life (beside early childhood) that I make an acrylic painting. Although my trees don’t looks like trees at all 😂 I am happy with the results. I will keep practicing.
Did u use any acrylic medium before applying any paint on the canvas. My problem is tha, whenever i try to apply paint it gets dry very quickly nd so i cant achieve a perfect blending. Any solution for this??
Hi Just wanted to know how you’ve prepared your canvas. Your paint rolls on the canvas very well. I’m a novice at acrylic painting. When i apply paint to the canvas, it doesn’t roll on that well. Are you using an acrylic paint thinner (retarder)?
Hello, haven't used any retarder, sometimes you can add a little bit of water in your acrylic paint, mixing well and then using it first, at least for the first "layer". You can also try to use more paint as one reason could be that you put less in first place, this happens to me sometimes and I just quickly add more paint and continue the paintings. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask more questions.
Art isn't about being clean. But put cardboard or paper under you so you can just throw it away at the end. I even put my paint straight onto my cardboard

I'm sure they don't look like crap. A lot of people including myself or very critical of our paintings.
I paint for absolutely no reason at all. I’m not good at it and it frustrates me when I mess up. I guess I kinda wish I was good at it.

Since November 2022, I’ve been acrylic painting more often, I’ve done a lot of paintings on cardboard, and canvases.
This is an amazing painting!
How i get the magenta colour?

What colour do you think I could replace the pink with! You’ve inspired me thx XD
mix red and white together to get pink
A mix of yellow and orange should do
Does this have to be on a canvas
What type of brush you used to make the mountain .
When I use my bust the bristles just flow here and there
Hey do you make the surface wet before painting?

Saaram Chaudhry when that happens to me, I usually dip my brush into water before picking up the paint 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ works for me
