A FAR CRY FROM AFRICA BY DEREK WALCOTT,LINE-WISE EXPLANATION

A Far Cry From Africa is written by Derek Walcott who has a hybrid identity because his grandfather was white and his grandmother was black. As a result, he could not completely associate himself from one culture, therefore 'Cry from Africa' turned to be far because he showed his unbiased opinion where -Africans were colonized but MauMau movement also slaughtered white people.1950's turned out to be the time where both Africans and Britishers were killing on the basis of racial prejudice.
