Just back from a family holiday to London all the way from sunny NIreland and ran from a loop around Tower Bridge and Westminster on Thursday morning. Really fun seeing the sights that way. Just got home yesterday so it's cool watching this as I didn't take any photos on the run!
I love the tiny fact, that Rick has an Airpod in the ear off camera 6:54 while sponsoring another earphone 😃 Jokes aside, Im wearing the oladance headphones since january as a daily driver and for running and they are great! Good sound quality for an open air design and hearing your surrounding is really important while running. Plus theyre the only headphones that doesnt trigger my earcanal infection, so kudos to oladance and trc 👍
I don't know why, but lately TH-cam has been pushing your videos to me. Happy about it as it has really helped me with understanding running and doing it in a less mentally harmful way 🎧
There was a time I was in London frequently, when my dear son was pursuing his second Masters at LSE! These sights bring back memories of lovely time spent, wish we could be touching the famous pubs!
🎧Loved the Rick and Sarah banter! 🎧 Next city? Johannesburg, of course! Promise you won't be sweaty, the climate's really dry here 😁 Added challenge: lots of streets have faded or no signage! And there's hills! And it's at altitude (1600m)!

@@runningchannel The Braamfontein Spruit runs south to north through the city starting in the park at the botanical gardens in Emmarentia, through Delta Park (which used to be a sewage water purification site in the early days of the city), along a squatter camp, and up to the wealthy neighbourhood of Bryanston - it's a lovely trail run! Run on a Sunday and you're likely to see (and hear) religious groups by the river, dressed in white ropes, singing - a truly African experience 🙂
Good to see Sarah back on a good old-fashioned run. In the last episode (the VO2Max one), she came off more like Ivan Drago than a simple runner :-) Anyway, the competition in this video was a fresh one. 🎧

Looks crazy! I can’t handle running in London during the day when there are so many people around 🤯 Would be interested to see a challenge that involves old school navigation (ie map and compass) somewhere there’s often limited mobile signal like Dartmoor or parts of Wales.
