Very good explanation, I was using an access 2016 with 64 bits but this was not able to open the Part database, it seen everything was right, but didn't work. Now, after follow your instruction (I was to uninstall entire Office 2016 :( ) it has worked properly. Thank you so much!
I am happy that I could help, you may want to keep some version of Office on your PC as EPLAN also works well with Excel. Anytime you find yourself editing EPLAN data in a table ask yourself if there is a tool in Excel that could edit this data faster.
