Thanks for sharing your adventure! I also fly long range wings and quads and bird attacks have been more on my mind these days. I've started using red reflective tape on my aircraft for two reasons. In nature red is the color that says don't mess with me and the reflective tape could be useful for finding it at night with a flashlight.

Wow, note to self, if an eagle attacks, don't disarm! Lol!
The way up is the safer one. Eagles cannot climb as fast as a plane or copter, but they are very good and fast on the ways down.

bro tried quitting the game hahaha but really it was a fun/risky use of the drone to try to spot the downed plane.

Yea we have hawks and eagles here. I never dive unless im really really close to me and go into the woods.. i usually go up and look for him. Sometimes ill go up while hauling ass back. I had a hawk or eagle once circle me twice.

I turned to film it. Seen it going up and circling back. Was like a dot. I was wait a sec. Oh fuck. And the took off home so fast. Luckily I was only like 400m away 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Sympa ! Mais oui si il y a une aire de rapace et encore plus un prédateur comme l’Aigle royal dans les parages c’est hasardeux d’y faire voler son avion. En anglais aigle royal c’est Golden Eagle au passage.
