This is why Hearthstone isn't fit for tournament esport. The fact that your 4-12 minion can be blown away by a 1 mana cost card is absolutely insane.

@Dl Don't bring poker into this. Poker is a gambling sport, because that's what it was made to be. In poker, you calculate the odds that you'll win a hand, and then make a decision based off that. It's not like in Hearthstone, where there are so many different random outcomes that can come of your cards that you can't make make solid estimations about what your footing will be in a game after you take certain risks and play with RNG effects. In poker, when you start thinking you're severely behind your opponents, you can fold. It's not like in Hearthstone where if you get a bad match-up and bad draws, you're doomed to lose. Poker's a game where, if you're behind, it'll be fine as long as you were smart enough to not invest much in the hand. Hearthstone's a nice little game, a card game that was made to be fun and casual, and that's totally alright that it has lots of RNG-based interactions and cards and whatnot (I enjoy playing Hearthstone and messing around with RNG shit, it's fun getting a Yogg off). That's not what everybody has a problem with. What the issue is is when it's made out to be a competitive sport, which is just impossible considering how the low the skill ceiling is for the game and how the outcomes of most games are reliant entirely on RNG. Also, if you haven't played poker, please don't use it in an argument.
