Those are pre-decided colors..I play around with below website and once colors are finalised, i apply them to small square boxes using eye dropper tool.

Those 2 icons are "Align Center' and 'Align Middle'...These 2 options when used in combination will make any shape to move towards Middle position of slide.. You will find these opions under 'Format Shape --> Align'..

Yes i agree...When i made this video i was just a learner...I was struggling hard to put my illustrator designs into PowerPoint...I realized the mis-alignment and corrected it..The correct version is available to download(link in video Description), but couldn't modify the video as it had many views in very shorttime..👍
