I've lost my mother recently and my father within one year, my heart aches and settles all at once when I listen to this hymn. I am eased and suffer when I hear this. I pray one day the translation or interpretation is posted. I am grateful for you and your gifted voice.
Hey how are you i want to tell you that your parents are both in a better place than this❤️ and Talk to God like your father or friend and ask him to give you peace and comfort and Live for Jesus Christ
May your mother and father rest in the arms of Jesus. God willing I will post the translation for you all. The words of this hymn are so healing. You are kept in my prayers, may the Lord Jesus lay His hand on your heart 🙏❤️
O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
Absolutely majestic, chills, I feel I’m witnessing Christs ascension or his return when listening to this and this. Thank you for this beautiful song! I am Suryoyo 🙏🏼✝️. Please release more.
@@maryfire Inside the Church tradition, we have two groups of Syriac Churches that speak a Variant of Syriac, the West Jacobites and Maronites and West Syriac speaking West Syriac Churches and the East Syriac Churches are Chaldean and Assyrian Churches of East. I was wondering if you can type the lyrics of this hymn in English letters if you speak Assyrian.
@@maryfireThank you. Is this sung for the funeral rites? So just wanted to clarify that I was looking for the transcription into English letters and not the translation exactly. For example instead of writing the hymn in Assyrian script for readers like myself who don't read the script in Assyrian, in which English Latin script would help greatly. In our west Syriac Churches we print out the Syriac hymns in English letters because we don't know to read the West Syriac script and unfortunately we also don't speak much Syriac either because we are so arabized.
This is great work ! I noticed the photography by George, his from Australia, and I'm assuming you are too, his studio is 10 minutes from my house lol.
Comfort, O Lord, those sitting in sadness, who are grieved by the death of their beloved. Bitter death has broken the body, which is held in the Tomb until the coming of Christ. There it now awaits, to be glorified by good deeds, at the resurrection of the dead. Take away, O Jesus Christ, the veil of darkness from the sorrowing heart of our earthbound race. Receive, O Lord, this Oblation, which is offered by your servants, O Merciful One. O Jesus the Savior, you sacrificed yourself, and in your human nature you received suffering. The cup of bitterness, of death, you drank. You taught us the hope in the resurrection.
May God rest the departed in Eternal Peace this isn't the end we have hope in Resurrection in Christ
Amen God bless you 🙏✝️
