Ah then I should plan it out for the next edition! 🌜 Years ago I was going religiously to festivals and gigs, but with tasks, work & friends moving to other places, I guess it fell out from the agenda. 😅
What an Amazing Culmination of various creativity way more than just Gothic, it's a Tradition. Seeing this event albeit in highlights still brings back memories of enjoying videos of this event pre-Pandemic (I can't afford to go to this sadly to say. Someday...) really being inspired by their amazing colorful stylings (I'm a practicing artist design-wise & hopeful cosplayer), such creative usage of self-made clothes, makeup and lenses. AND yes, also the music. Seeing Wave Gotik Treffen still standing strong and the various individuals showcasing their expressive selves, not to mention their positive honest attitudes, really motivates me to hopefully someday make my Alternative dreams a reality, and also testimony to the power of human creativity and drive to overcome any odds be it physical & internal. Thanks a Lot for sharing this and may the annual WGT keep on going Forever!

Leider sind immer mehr Selbstdarsteller auf Egotrip beim WGT zu sehen. Fasching ist nichts dagegen. Schade, früher war vieles besser, nicht nur die Musik.
Dein Kommentar ist ganz schön traurig... Hast du nicht all die Lächeln in diesem Video gesehen? Ich sehe glückliche Leute, die ihre Leidenschaft ausleben und Spaß in der Goth-Szene haben. Sei froh, dass es solche schönen Szene-Festivals noch gibt und dass Nachwuchs da ist, um diese wunderschöne Szene am Leben zu halten. Und was die Musik angeht: Das ist deine Meinung. Besser wäre es, wenn du es so formuliert hättest: "Mir hat die Musik früher besser gefallen." Es gibt nämlich Leute wie uns, die neue und alte Musik gleichermaßen lieben. Anyway, ich drücke dir die Daumen, dass Zeitreisen bald machbar werden ;-)
