Lucas, a mechanic is so valuable! Our mechanic is awesome and has his own shop. Unfortunately he is getting close to retirement and we just don't know what we'll do when that happens. It is so hard to find a good, reliable, and honest mechanic. You will have an awesome career in front of you. Maybe you and Jake can open your own shop!

Lucas! My husband graduated from UTI (NASCAR Technical Institute) in NC. He LOVED it so much! Everything they tell you is true! You’ll have recruiters coming in wanting to hire you before you even graduate! They’re amazing!! You’ll love it!
My dad did mechanic, body shop and welding after military service. He ended up in a different career, but, used his skills restoring old cars for resale as a side job. I’m so happy for Lucas, occupational/ service jobs pay well and are always in demand!!
I love how close the kids are with their cousins and aunt and uncle, I feel that is so important to have a relationship with their extended family and how all the kids are so close no matter whose house they are at they are so loved and taken care of. Jared and Shelly and Aaron and Crystal have created a forever family for all of their kids so special to have, and know they are forever loved and supported. In one of Shelly and Jared’s videos they went and picked up scarlet from school and their love and connection to is so sweet. I LOVE that your kids are going for hands on jobs. Most of them directly affect customers and people's lives!! I am 24 and went to college for auto tech. I was the only girl in the class and most of the classmates were very supportive. I now work at a dealership in the parts department. I've been there 5 years and love it

FYI: You will get a full tool set and they will send you from class to class with an empty engine and you build it as you go from class to class. My son went to that college under the NASCAR Tech name back in the 90's. He has been with Carmax for 20 years on Halloween. Really good school!

I had the tiny side teeth like Crystal had...I struggled for years, never wanting to smile...I also had soft teeth..they would break off over nothing...when I turned 49, I had the remaining teeth pulled and dentures put in...I've never regretted that decision!...You are so beautiful, inside and out!!!!

I think it's so awesome that Lucas is wanting to go into auto mechanics. He's always reminded me of my big boy and her is doing dual enrollment for auto mechanics right now! His plan is to get into UTI after graduation with two extra certifications, and then intern at Porsche here in Atlanta. Right now he's working at jiffy lube when he's not at school... It's real chill and he likes it...It's such an exciting and scary time when your little are beginning not so little and making big changes and decisions❤. Honestly, watching your channel has helped me help my teens navigate those phase of life, as we have babies the same age as yours. I thank you guys so much for what you share, but you have no idea how much my household has benefited from your channel and your heart for your children❤❤❤

How does it work there and when you adopt children like you have does the state offer them any free schooling or a grant of any sort? You guys are raising the kids right that is for sure. My ear took 6 months to heal from the same piercing. Once I found the perfect cream to put on it then it finally healed. Can't recall what it was, that was many yrs ago, but it was a small tube. Congratulations Lucas~ Glad to hear that the dentist came up with a solution for Savannah! As far as the piercing is concernned ...such a strange fad. I remember my grand daughter coming home with her nose pierced. I nearly fainted. I think nose piercing ruins a pretty girls face and I told her so. Happy to report she removed it.

My ear took 6 months to heal from the same piercing. Once I found the perfect cream to put on it then it finally healed. Can't recall what it was, that was many yrs ago, but it was a small tube. Piercings look great, ladies!
