You should do this to the clutch center, not the basket. the oil flows from the inside of the center towards the outside. Thats why there are tiny holes in the center. you can enlarge those holes for improved oil flow

is there any problem if I do not? or if I do multiple drill on center what's the benefit? I'm getting less ready pickup than before. what should I do now?

don't do this guy, I have f#ked up by drilling. got less ready pickup, also friction increased in clutch. oil get darty. please avoid drilling in clutch side
