A mouse could fall from the top of the Empire State Building, and be basically okay, and a squirrel can fall from any height and be perfectly fine. Why? Because they have a much slower terminal velocity than a human. Take this into consideration with Owlboy. Since he basically fell from space we may need to do a bit of math to figure out his terminal velocity, it might be possible that his terminal velocity is slow enough for him to survive. We don’t have any basic measurements to calculate his exact weight, but we can figure something out from the mechanics of the game itself: Owlboy is able to fly. Gravity still exists on the planet, as humans such as the pirates are still affected in a similar fashion, but they seem to use weights to keep themselves grounded, if we take into account the horizon we see in the end, the gravity on Owlboy’s planet is almost certainly slightly less than Earth’s, as it would allow for beings like Owlboy to fly with such short wingspans. This already puts the odds in Owlboy’s favor, as less gravity equals a longer time for him to reach a slower terminal velocity. This also coincidentally implies that Owlboy, in order to be able to fly while humans who are similar in size only jump higher, must also be lighter than the average human. Bruh, the Owl Temple and Pirate mini bosses aren't even boss fights. The temple boss was a chase scene and the pirate was a time attack.
They are still bosses just with different mechanics to them.
