The Moon Doesn't Mind // Paws and Enchantment

Beginning with a view of the ice castle the ice wizards call home, Anemone headbunts Shellfire a goodbye as he leaves for war.. Unfortunately, he dies in that battle, the night Anemone would have her two kittens; Leonala and Bartholomew. She's brought this news by Falcon, and is distraught. She decides to neglect Bartholomew, distancing herself from the prince, after all, only a queen could rule the ice wizards, so she spends all of her time nurturing Leonala instead, leaving Bartholomew to cry. When he attempts to talk to her, she just gets another cat to take care of him. To cope with her looming grief over Shellfire, she sings a soul song, including how much she regrets hurting Bartholomew, their noble collars, her view of Leonala's own soul song, and her time spent with Shellfire. She praises Leonala endlessly for her devotion to Starclan, singing a soul song in the dead of night into the sky strengthens their connection. The stars even reflect off of the ice castle, so they can be closer to their Afterlife. But her neglect of Bartholomew comes to a head when she is assassinated by his paw, and despite her praise of Starclan, Anemone awakens in the Dark Forest.
