Such an old fashioned mindset. They show great creativity and musicality while still retaining the spirit of locking dance. It is a breath of fresh air for a style that can sometimes appear visually repetitive. And the fact that you think neither of these dancers is doing proper locking shows that you're out of touch with what the style is about and also with the locking scene. You'll find tons of videos of these two doing locking in the traditional way you seem so attached to. Although I'm not even sure you could appreciate their performances properly.
A half-@rsed attempt at a wrist roll, a funky chicken that looks like the chicken has had its head cut off! Kids, this is NOT locking! It looks like one of those shows where they ask ballet dancers to try different dance styles…….except after 24 hours the ballet dancer does a much better job.
That little flutter at 2:14 and 2:18 gave me pleasure goosebumps. Utter absolute genius. So in flow.
