lol.. hey guys 🖐😷 so many questions about my truck i cant believe i didn't think to add that in the description... but anyways,, its a 2004 F-150 with the 4.6 Triton V8 and a Flow master exhaust :O) its actually a near mint truck that i got from a dude that never drove it and kept it garaged... also was a dealership queen whenever it needed any thing done
The exact same truck my late grandfather used to drive me in as a kid when we went to his house for the summer. We used to arrive around midnight so this brings back some pretty good memories. Thank you !
Thanks for bringing up the most memorable part of my childhood. Late night rides home from visiting relatives or just being out with my parents. This was a nice nostalgia trip. You rock doc. Keep on being awesome and you will always have my views
Lil Sachmed I fell straight asleep first time using this Asmr now I’m using it a second time in memories of old road trips going to places like California or phx for supercross falling asleep in the back wondering how tf my dad and uncle stayed awake the whole trip then became a truck driver and learned how to do the same lol
if that's a V8 mixed with ASMR i'm going to fall asleep just by listening to it's calm peaceful noise while it cruises down the highway. Cars and ASMR just goes well with eachother even tho it's very underrated on DOCs channel
For some reason it makes me feel really warm inside that you're being real with us and sharing some information about yourself and your childhood. Idk it just seems more personal? But I love it and thank you for producing it!
my father constantly travels and brings us along on the regular. the road and our cars are as much a home for me as our actual home. sure, i'm a homebody through-and-through. but I've always found the entire experience of traveling in a car car: hearing and feeling its mechanical purr, the movement of every gentle turn, the turning signals' metronomic ticking as you're about to reach your turn, and feeling the bumps on the road regardless of how small or little it is, as something extremely comforting. thank you for this, doc. i highly appreciate it.
Great idea for a video Dr T. My grandfather bought a 77 F100 with the 300 Inline 6, new, when they moved to Washington State. I went with him to the dealership to pick it up. Now I own it, and it still runs and drives well.
When I listen to this, the environment just got colder like I'm in a car or a center or something. BTW, thank you for the vid Dr.T now I can now sleep and sound.
This man drove for an Hour thinking "This is gonna be a good ASMR video" I think I'm more inspired by the motivation and determination this video took than anything else. Very relaxing Dr. T. I appreciate the lengths you take to do what you and many others love.
this reminds me of the long 4-8 day road trips my family would go on when moving around America, me and my brother sleeping in the back with blankets and pillows, cool air, silent driving, looking out the window watching the lights, squinting my eyes to make then look longer (ya’know) ty Dr T for the nostalgia
I really really enjoyed this. Going long road trips at night are my favorite thing ever. Sleeping on a car ride too, hearing every little sound and stuff you hear you feel like you dont hear at your home home town its so crazy.
My man just drove around for an hour just for us for the video. It shows his dedication to being grateful for his followers which I'm I'm too. Thanks alot man 😁
Ah, this video reminds me of the days back when I was serving in the Octoling Army. See, we’d take these long convoy trips in our big 8x8 APCs and IFVs and I’d always ride passenger or turret in the lead vehicle. Being in the front, we didn’t have the sound of the rumbling of the V10 engine ahead from a vehicle ahead of us (in case you’re wondering, the cab had a special engine muffling system, which helped a lot), so sleep came *very* easily to us... Except when the other girls were singing their favourite pop songs in the back. Yeah, long car rides are always calming to me. Thank you so much for making a video such as this that brings back so many good memories
Fun fact, when I was a kid and couldnt get to sleep, my father had to put me in the car and drive around the neighborhood until I fell asleep. This is a soothing video.
When i was a baby and being a pain about going to sleep, my parents would take me for a drive in the car. I was always asleep in minutes!!! Thankyou for this!!
Oh my gosh it calms me down so much! I loooove the constant noise and the turn signal. I would also love a late afternoon before sunset countryside car ride! Super interesting as well
I absolutely love this video! I remember when I was 5, my aunt and uncle took me to Disney World and my uncle drove through most of the night until we got to southern Georgia and we got a hotel room. I can remember knowing we were going on a big trip, but not yet knowing it was Disney World (I actually didn't know until we got there). I was trying desperately to stay awake so I wouldn't miss anything, but watching the cars on the highway and the quiet noises from the vehicle lulled me to sleep. This doesn't sound at all like how his did, they had some sort of SUV, not sure what it was exactly. But the sound is still super soothing to me. Due to my anxiety I can't fall asleep in vehicles anymore so this is great because I'm in bed sleeping but I'm listening to someone driving. I totally love these different videos. Videos that deviate from the channel norm can be hidden gems, such as this one. I can't wait to see what you have in store in the future!
This is absolutely amazing! It didn't put me to sleep, but it gave me the right amount of white noise/background noise that I was able to sit down, focus, and study for my finals!
This reminds me of the drives home from my cabin 3 hours from my home town. A cramped truck, hearing the cars pass by, sometimes passing through storm's and just the fade sound of the radio playing....would get me tired everytime..thank you for this..please post some stuff like this its nice (if you can that is you dont have to ^-^) now i have school, good night!!
Ever since I was a child. I had a tingle for the sound of the car jus driving, sleeping in the car and that little vibration jus putting me into deep sleep, in general car rides are the best❤️ BECUZZ the car ride would feel like 3 minutes
This brought me way back, my family used to use our Ford Expedition as a family vehicle and it had the 5.4 but also with the flow masters and that low down drone always put me to sleep as a kid.
As a kid my step mom was a truck driver sleeping in that big rig of hers was pure white noise for me that rain hitting the roof and windows the noise it made when it would turn
I saw every single video in this channel ! Since the very first one ( made with just a noodles pack) ! Dr. T YOU are the ASMR master ! Much love from Portugal!
Wow every time I listen to Vincent I always fall asleep, see I don’t get tingles but still ASMR helps me sleep, I almost fell asleep writing this comment, but anyways i know I’m a bit late but congrats on 300k! Keep up the good work. And to all the 330k subs, you guys and girls are doing a great job being a supportive group of fans!
as soon as this went on I went back in time to being a small child in the back seat during a long road trip. Oh how the years fly and what wouldnt be given to earn those kinder easier years back. Real talk though very much love this video Dr T. Keep it up
It's a real shame this video didn't do as well as most of his other content. This one really did it for me for some reason. Hopefully he doesn't get discouraged and tries this again! Maybe add in some talking, like he's asking alpha 2 for directions or something
You know what would be even better than this? Taking the camera into the backseats, in a very dark an cozy corner where you can see the cars passing by. Or even BETTER than that, laying the camera on the back, so it looks like that you are laying in that truck and trying to sleep :D
my dad had a 99' durango 5.2 magnum with flow masters like the ones in the video, so i basically had a mini nostalgia trip because i spent most of my childhood with that car

Thanks for bringing up the most memorable part of my childhood. Late night rides home from visiting relatives or just being out with my parents. This was a nice nostalgia trip. You rock doc. Keep on being awesome and you will always have my views
Cut short 'cause it led straight to Tinglebottom Industries' secret HQ.
How the hell did you not fall asleep watching this, and paid enough attention to know where tinglebottom inc is?
The first thing I thought when I saw this video is that someone is gonna study the hell out of every road sign

That's some inception shit..
As a driver of an old car, I appreciate the smooth transmission and how quiet it is. And also the lack of rattles.
Angela Smith it’s not THAT old. Only 15 years lol. It’s not a classic.
I have a 85 Ferrari. Thats old. And boy is the transmission hell
Daddy Cool Angela is referring to the car in the video being quiet and smooth & not that it's old.
Angela Smith if you appreciate sound you should try a Tesla, or any electrical car
10.000 Subs With No Videos the smoothest quietest ride is definitely a Mercedes s class
I love it, it reminds me of my childhood when my mother drove home.
